I work in a hospital and putting makeup on makes a huge difference. We interact with people everyday so it feels good to look presentable and awake ahhaha.

I appreciate this video so much. There are so many reviews about being a CNA and I come across a lot of the ones that have negative opinions about it. As someone who is looking into becoming a CNA before a nurse and not knowing if this job is really for me, it is a little hard to digest the negative things that people say about it just because there's interest in working in the medical field. So it kind of gave me a 50-50 vibe about if I should or should not do it. But this video gave me a great mindset about being a CNA no matter the dirty work, and the way you explained it just gave me hopes and positive vibes. Thank you for this video!

I am so happy that you still became a nurse! Because that kind of advisor isn't a real advisor, she is supposed to e supportive and help you get to be a nurse. My advisor, when I went to community college, helped me try to get there and got me take the classes I needed to get there. Even though I backed out of community college because it wasn't what I was looking for. I was the same as you after I left, thought I could just work and not worry about school until I realized years later that I do want to be a nurse too so I decided that I wanted to go to vocational school instead! But everyone is proud of you that you followed your heart and you finally got the career you wanted. I subscribed to you today and your videos are so helpful, and they inspire me even more! I can't wait to start nursing school and become an LPN! Thank you so much! ❤️🤗 You are doing great! 😊

I am currently going to a university and I’m taking the prerequisite classes for the nursing program I’m trying to get into. I just finished the fall semester with a 3.09 GPA and a cumulative 2.3 GPA. I got a C In anatomy, a B in my anatomy lab class, a B in PSY311 child development, and a A in eng101 . I turned in my application for the nursing program 2 weeks ago and will know something in a few months on if I got accepted or not. If I do get accepted I’ll be starting in August of 2023. The reason my cumulative gpa is a 2.3 is because I attended the same university last year and didn’t do great and didn’t like the major I chose. But i decided to come back in 2022 to decide what It is that I really want to do and it was nursing. I’ve never in my life got a 3.0 on anything and I’m super grateful for it. I always just told myself “stick to the plan you knew it wouldn’t be easy” and I’m doing everything possible to get accepted. Chemistry is my biggest problem. But I plan on doing my best, and praying for good news! Always remember you got this ♥️

I am 31 and going into my first year of nursing. I am also a single mom of 4 kids. (The are 1,10,12 and 15 yrs old) It’s been rough but worth it.

Hi Karla! I’m contemplating and have been contemplating going to nursing school for several months now, despite me hearing the many horrors of nursing school & how “brutal” it can be😅. I can’t think of anything else I’d like to do more and that would make the most sense, besides nursing school and becoming an RN, going straight into it. I am however very nervous & afraid I may not even be able to pass even my prerequisites, of which I have 8. Not sure how I would sustain myself throughout those 4-5 years. I’ve already been back to school 3x before, I have 2 associates and a certification in phlebotomy and long story short have been unable to get a career with any of it, I want this to be the last thing, the last time but am on the fence as to if it would be worth it since I’m told I wouldn’t graduate until 2027 and I’m already in my 30’s. At this rate I’m not even sure it’s an age thing, more so a fear & really not sure how I’d do in the science courses. I’m not a fast reader & haven’t done science in over a decade, not sure I even ever have (although I must have at some point, but have no recollection.) If you, and any others could possibly give me some insight, maybe motivation, pointers, I’m not really sure what I’m looking for haha but felt it was worth a shot. Some kind of sign maybe, who knows. I don’t want to take time in something I might fail at, I also don’t wanna live with the regret of not trying. Tough decision. I need some sort of career at this point I feel, although I’ve come thus far🙏
