I legitimately had no idea moving PIpegunk to the opposite area right away would stun it. I always moved it to the normal area since I remembered its Def being weakest there... This fight took a very very long time lmao.

Man I fuckin loved this boss... Died like a million times because I neglected any defensive equipment and straight up gave mario the one hit K.O. equipment. MAN I wish this game had a boss refight area like previous games because the fights are so good actually

I was really underleveled for this boss but especially the golem sharks trap card reference the one with the ice and fire gimmick took me over an hour to beat because i'm only level 39 imo, but this boss was a lot easier than the next one.

Beating bosses underleveled is the best thing you can do because that way you can learn how to dogde all moves and have a more challenging and fun battle. Also you can listen to the music for longer.

I still wonder if I wanna get this game

I was super prepared for this rematch. How my Mario worked was with raw damage, his damage stats were much better than Luigi's and his counter attack damage was as much as a regular jump or hammer attack. Luigi had more defense and his lucky damage was insane. Helped with the fact that I had the gear that makes lucky hits happen twice as often and the jump helmet dealt as much as 1200 damage

5:19 You made your first mistake here. You should've used either the basket instead. Not only would it have gotten rid of the clones, but it also would've made it easier to use the meteor to hit the main one.

I'm so damn thankful that they gave bowser his own boss gauntlet in the remake this fact alone makes it better than the original game at least in my opinion it's a shame brotherhood didn't have one it's my only complaint about it everything else was perfect but this game is definitely my second favorite the remake at least.

I could never do this legit, sadly. I just resorted to grinding Beans using the Farmer Boots until my Speed stat for all bros were higher than Dry Bowser's. I _can_ beat him normally; just not fast enough (or good enough at avoiding damage) to secure the S-Rank.

Me van a atacar por decirlo pero la verdad este juego me parece mas disfrutable que brothership, lo se, las misiones de toads son aburridas pero puedes adelantar dialogos inecesarios, no tiene muchos tutoriales, desde el inicio ya tienes ataques especiales y no te alargan inecesariamente el tiempo de la historia con dialogos aburridos

I don't care what people say this remake is better in every way, ost, battle system, graphics, boss rush ect and is way better than the original in my opinion. Edit i Hate the argument that they didn't put the better destroy the dark power theme for the x fight because it's not the same area that you fight his first form but it's like bug fables did them in a different setting and still had the awesome osts it falls completely flat when the theme is what made it so much more memorable in the remake imo so glad you edited it in.

Despite the games many shortcomings in my eyes, they really nailed the combat. The card system is just the best. I think half my playtime of this game is from replaying bosses alone

What is the criteria to get an S rank? Is it to win this boss rush without taking less damage or to win every battle the least amount of turns?

My only fight against King Bob-Bomb ended in him blowing up and Luigi being the sole survivor so i've never seen that dialogue for beating him. Funny as hell

The king boo fireball attack is usually in a pattern Down, Up, Down, Up and then the fifth one is completely random then they come back in reverse order just thought I’d let ya know
