Bro i made this farm exact just y level was different according to fortress but they are not spawning and getting to portals... they spawn and come but only 5-6 then they wont make it to portal...plz tell me solution

Of course I woke up at 4am thinking, “Wait, this won’t work, he will despawn every morning.” Sigh. 😢 Maybe you’ll get all the resin you need in one night, but it makes it pretty hard to use as a community farm on a server.

Some questions for people that know more than me, 1. Is there any merit to using wither roses instead of the walls on the spawn platform? 2. Is there any merit to spawn proofing any of the rest of the nether fortress or any of the surrounding land? (I built mine mostly over a lava lake but one side touches the soul sand cliff) 3. Any point in putting an iron golem behind the portal in the overworld to get the wither skeletons to chase after him quicker? Thanks to anyone with answers to any of these.

i built this in a world with my friends on java and it didn’t work that well. none of the either skeletons were moving towards the iron golem that much and on the other where the bridge was they weren’t moving. idk why tho. any explanation pls send ty

Great farm! Definitely BE CAREFUL when connecting up portal at 7:20 because you'll have an unwelcoming party waiting for you! Only thing I'd like is an automatic sorting collection system to get rid of all the stone swords dropped.

My whole nether is full of fortresses in basalt deltas. Please tell me it works there too :'D

So my farm works thanks! but my bridge in the overworld doesnt get anywhere near to "rammed packed" i have maybe 7-8 withers and thats about it... any assistance? (edit: i know this because i have an alt account on a server i have with my friends and i have it afk by the bridge so i can see it)

so crazy, I knew it's dangerous but not that much, I tried summoning 4 iron golems and pushing them into the portal but it didn't work, too much wither skeleton

I have this problem where the wither skeletons de spawn in the platform after going through the portal? any fixes? does the problem have to do with the fact that im in a multiplayer server?

Can you build a hoglin farm under the killing platform to afk as you kill the wither skeletons? Also love the farm. Was what I needed on my world.

so when i spawned at overworld i got oblitareted from withers dont light up the portal where you building the farm (where you placed it golem) otherwise you might lose your stuff forever now i see this tutorial has many flaws and its not the best

i buildt this on a aternos server, the blocks were launched east so i build a collection system on the east side in the end, but nothing is happening. Any way i can fix this? Edit: nvm, buildt it wrong. ty for the tutorial btw

i made the nether portal on the farm and blaze pushed me in it now my portals are messed up i still finished the building of farm please help what do i do now

It's working well for me on Java. Replace the smooth stone with glowstone to light up the area

when you were finding your y value, was that not the highest nether brick? there was a higher one right in front of you

Fix to people dying in their hardcore : wait to light the portal at the platform you made with netherbricks until the entire farm is done, you'll then be able to make the overworld portals in peace

I built this and it works well, but after running it for about 20 minutes the skeletons get stuck on the bridge in the overworld. Is there a difference in how mobs can go through portals on realms?

If I leave and come back to the world, would I need to restart the chunk loader

The wither skeletons keep spawning in a new portal in the overworld is there anyway I can fix this

I can’t get mine to work. The 2 portals that are in the sky in the over world both connect to the one the either skeletons are supposed to go through I can’t figure out what’s wrong

when i go through the overworld portal (the non elevated one), you go to the top of the nether roof, mine goes to where the iron golem is, any ideas on how to fix, I've broken them all then relit them in the order you did and also went through only ones you said,

Guys if your wither skeletons just don't spawn on the plattform, try it on 1 y level lower.... And also you may wanna spawn proof the fortress and place some wither rose because that is going to improve spawn rates
