@@ItsK3y omg thats so awesome, im glad it got u into pixel art haha
@@hanapixelme hii i was just wondering why ae u not uploading that much lately ? anyways thank u for the beautiful tutorials :D
heyy, thanks for checking in. Sorry I’ve been really busy lately. I had some still in editing, but they take a lot to make (i wish i could have some help with the editing haha 🥹). But yeah, thanks for the messageas well as the support, I’ll try to arrange time for the videos as best as I can 🥰
I really like your pixel art style and you explain it very well. Can you please make a tutorial on how to draw a character with a full explanation in different resolutions?
This helped me more than any other vid. I struggle so much with grass - thank you!
I love the content thank you so much!! (would like the music a bit smaller tho, would be easier to hear your voice)
the music is so annoying
Just wanted to say the breathing room concept was eye opening for me! I always finish a tileset and every time I realize I've made a terrible mistake and the character's going to get lost in the environment, but this video gave a lot of useful tips, so thank you for that!
Best pixel art tutorial for beginners i've ever seen. Thank you so much!
I just discovered this channel and its insane. I hope u continue with this kind of tutorials. You helped me a lot, so thank you so much.
damn, that's some gorgeous dirt
terimakasih, karena kamu aku berhasil bikin rumput

This is exactly what i'm looking for, PLEASE MAKE MORE 😭
Thank you for this tutorial! Extremely useful! I've just started learning pixel art (and art in general) and I'm struggling with things like clouds and water. I'm sure you could explain those things perfectly!

I absolutely LOVE your videos, and enjoy learning and developing as a new pixel artist with you. I would love to see a water tile set in the future!
thank you thank you! yes i'll put that up for consideration in future videos
Great video! I was looking for someone to give me a good workflow to start with, I was so unsure of how to go about organizing tiles and modifying them in terms of what layers to use and stuff like that. This seems perfect for me, of course I will slightly modify as I learn what pains me personally but this is a great workflow
thank you so much! im really glad it helped you out it is a little difficult to wrap your head around making tilesets but ye just experience with them as much as you can!
The quality of this video is just insane. Even though I already knew how to do this, I enjoyed it a lot keep up the good work 😀

@@DeLo-ss4xt thats awesome 🥰 ye im making more videos right now haha it takes a while
Thanks for this awesome tutorial. Quick and dirty!
@@jsx0328 haha thank you 😝
I'm confused on one thing. How do you know how big to make the tile or the big patch of grass? At 9:05, you have a big square that overlaps a lot of tiles in the center of the view, not sure how to use this exactly or where to apply it. Just grab sections of it for use later?
So you can decide how big or small you want your tiles to be. In her case she added a grid of 16 * 16 (you can see it while she’s working) and it helps her to see where each tile ends. Also she added a background layer to see how well the new tiles will look with dirt. I believe she’d delete that before saving the tiles. In game engines, you import the tile set you made and tell it what the dimensions are.
what is the size of the ground layer?
i think it is 48x48 px
Do you do isometric art at all? I keep coming back to this and thinking about an isometric grass tutorial!
❤❤❤very good

@@hanapixelme Thankyou. I hope your channel grows well too.
As someone who is getting into pixel art and making games this helps out a lot more than any other video I've watched
@@thebeardedpanda842 thank you so much 🥰
This channel is hands down the best resource for learning pixel art on UA-cam! Everything from the pacing to the explanations to the professional polish to the quality of the artwork is absolutely spot on (It's also exactly what I need at my current stage of game development!) Do you happen to have any tips when working with restrictive sizes and colour palettes? I'm trying to work within Game Boy Colour limitations, so 8x8 to 16x16 canvas sizes, along with 4 colours for background tiles and 3 + transparency for sprites.
@@AndrewFullerton thank you so much!! That means a lot to me haha 😊 well i dont have any tips specifically. But for working with such a limited palette, I’d say have each objects or scene their own mini palette. For example, if u choose a dark green color for ur floor, avoid using that green on ur character as it would look blend in. But if u still have to overlap some colors, outlining is a great way to seperate things. Going small also means that u’ll be working more with primary shape, so like a table would just be a rectangle and 4 sticks instead of having decorative parts (like ornaments on the table). And thats totally fine if you just use primary shape for these objects. The goal is for an outsider to look at it and still recognize the overall silhouette. Maybe later on when u’re used to it, you can add in small features, like in the silhouette video. Simple changes in the object can make a difference. Other than that, the style is all up to you! Good luck! ❤️
This is great, teaching slowly and going in depth to all of the lil parts going into it
@@willowAHH thank you so much! 🥰
