6:13 This is why I quit my data science job. I could not stand having my work trashed when it could be so useful for a customer. It’s so tiring to see GenAI displace other ML techniques that are so tried and true.

My advice is quit your job when you only have another job lined up, have money aside or if you know what you really really want to do in your life… the rest is dreams and fantasy…. Life is too hard right now!

Let's be real, not everyone has the PRIVILEGE to quit a job without another lined up ESPECIALLY if you're from lower income Black and Brown communities. These videos are extremely unrealistic for most people in America or North America and it's always from someone doing well off. The job market and economy is trash and finding a job is extremely hard right now and not to mention everything is extremely expensive. It's like people who quit jobs without another lined up are immune to these things and it very much seems the case. For REGULAR people don't quit carelessly like this. Have a job always.

It's all due to privilege and false sense of entitlement. You don't see farm workers quitting and they get paid way less and work harder. People who grew up easy can't handle a regular job.

My advice to anyone in here thinking about quitting their job please have something in line more than just family support. Never want to be an extra responsibility because things aren't working out. Instead of being an extra expense to your family or friends just put in extra hours outside of your work. detach your life from your current job and focus on what you want. If there is anyone in here saying well you aren't giving your best to your job, just remember if you died today they would have a replacement in less than a month. Your job may treat you well but at the end of day, the business will go on. You are valuable, treat yourself as such. I hope everyone in here reaches their goals in life.

Don't quit your job, she got initial success on social media and that gave her dopamin hit,now she wants more attention to get more high from dopamine. I get it real work is boring slow paced and not much to boost about but having 50k followings overnight (more like 2-4 weeks) and getting that level of attention and prasis is going to nmees you up and the result is here to see. Engineering is lot of trial and error and quick wins are rare, if you want to be social media start engineering is not the path. You do you .... yolo.

If you need a break, take vacation/ therapy for other issues. If you are pursuing other career options, start that in parallel to current job.

Your video was very boring. The only interesting thing you did was quit and I feel like why you quit was misguided and unjustified. Real authentic interest comes from overcoming trauma. Real superficial interest comes with deeper toxicity that you don't see. Second you might have chosen the wrong field. If you really want to be interesting you have to put yourself through a crucible. Fun fact women don't normally respond to trauma positively like men so because of lack of testosterone (scientific fact) so go ahead and damage yourself in order to become interesting I guess
