The Switch's hardware is garbage I replaced every part one at a time. I have owned every Nintendo console made the switch will be the last.

I understand what you’re saying but I gotta disagree. The Switch is DATED!! We need some level of hardware upgraded. The Wii U was a failure because it was a terrible marketing campaign and went from in the living play to looking like a tablet. We need a technology upgrade because these developers are moving on from what the switch can handle.

You may be right, now that the pro and anniversary version are getting scalped, then they care less about ps5 so more people can buy the ps5 which is still not being used to it's full potential in the few ps5 exclusive games we have.

I feel like the Nintendo switch 2 will fail the same way the Wii U failed by not being necessary. The Wii U failed because the Wii was such a big hit and when the Wii u launched everyone thought they didn't need it because they already had a Wii which could basically do what what the Wii u does without needing to spend extra money on a useless thing. So when the switch 2 drops, no one "might" buy it because the original switch can work greatly without needing a new console. The switch 2 is said to be an upgraded version of the switch being bigger and performing better but with the cost of something probably near to PlayStation and Xbox.

I also love the Yakuza games. I started with Y0 back in 2020 and I’ve played all of the games. They hold a special place in my heart. I love every single one in their own way

I think that Capcom is focusing on Monster hunter marketing first they don’t want to showcase another of their huge games while MH is not out yet. I think that in 2025 it’s going to be RE9 season and I think it’s so ambitious that they want to be sure that they take there time and make it as good as possible.

Seriously?? I just started playing for the first time recently. XD I waited 15 years for one reason or another to play this and now they might drop a remaster? Oh well, it's just okay. I like the battle system, but honestly ff12's was better. I'm playing on og ps3 hardware, and it looks great. I'd say just below ff12 remaster quality on PS4. It's insanely linear tho like they said for years and opens up far into the game. I didn't really like ff12's storyline, and this is worse. Probably would rank it overall lowest among all the ff games I've played 7-12, including tactics.

I mean technically it is possible to play retro games on your ps5 but you need ps plus premium to cloud stream them. The cloud streaming software is called “Playstation Now”, however, sadly it’s only available to certain countries.

In my opinion, both gamers and the companies are at fault. Too many screamed “WE NEED BETTER GRAPHICS!” Or “ WE NEED THESE SPECS!” All I need is the game to be fun, I could give two hoots if the rock in GTA looks like the rock outside my house.

I’ve only bought three PS five games this year total besides I’m waiting on silent Hill to remake and I also pre-ordered Alan Wake two on Xbox and PlayStation

I dont think the name is a problem. It works for Sony, so I dont see why it wouldnt work for Nintendo. Honestly the only thing I want from nintendo is a stronger hybrid console. I barely touch my switch since I have gotten my steamdeck. Only use switch for when I have friend over or when Im playing exclusives

I'm not entirely convinced this isn't some sort of bait. Especially considering UA-cam randomly decided to recommend it to me. And I really do not understand what you're coming from. Your main point is that "Switch 2 will confuse people". But how? You only say it's a bad idea to call it this, but never elaborate on why. You only compare it to the Wii U, which is very far from comparable. There was more confusing things about the Wii U than just the name. Besides, the 2 is an easy moniker for a straight up sequal. Worked for the PS2, works for iPhones, works for pretty much everything that is a sequal. You instantly know it's a sequal. And on that note, calling it the Switch Pro would be terrible, because that would confuse people. That would make people think "well, why upgrade to just a pro model when my standard one plays games just fine". It doesn't signify new, it just signifies old-but-better. Super Nintendo Switch could potentially work, since it's also a nice callback to the SNES, but I'm not too sure on that one. As for your point about the N64, that was a huge failure. At least compared to the SNES. In fact both it and the GameCube were failures for Nintendo. The Wii was a fad mostly, so while it sold well, most of the units sold would just end up collecting dust. Another reason why the Wii U failed, because people were already sick of the Wii name. People aren't sick of the Switch, or at least the concept of it, which is why the Steam Deck and ROG Ally still sell. They just want to see it improve. Another reason why Switch 2 would be a good enough name. Finally, we don't even know if Switch 2 will be the final name. We won't know until it's announced

I've watched 1:11 seconds of your video, and in this time, you're focused primarily on branding. That's a fair argument. But you invalidate your arguments almost immediately. Switch to Switch 2 will fail because no one needs a Switch 2, you say. Explain PS1 through PS5. People didn't buy Wii U because it was a handheld add-on to the Wii. Branding wasn't a factor there. Wii U was a lot more like Sega Genesis + Sega 32X, which was also a failure. Lastly, nextgen Switch branding isn't confirmed. Switch 2 is how everyone is referring to it colloquially. Lastly, lastly, your assertion that it won't sell as well as Switch, you may be correct, and you may be incorrect. It's a nextgen console that will likely remain less expensive than PS5 and Xbox Series counterparts. So, price/value, it's more competitive with a massive library, and due to more power, will have a lot more ports from those systems. So, it will likely sell a ton. Just some things for you to consider.

I think people go to playstation for exclusives only. While I do agree that xbox offers much better experience then playstation, the backwards compatibility has made it easier to experience nostalgia.
