CHURROS : The Best Kind of Dough
I love the dough, more than you know. Gotta let it show, I love the dough! Especially when it's deep fried, covered in cinnamon sugar, and topped off with some salted caramel sauce. But bonus points if it's home made and easy to make... Which this is.

This Recipe:
Churros:
60g Butter
1 TBSP Sugar
¼ tsp Salt
1 Cup Water
Heat Medium-low
1 Cup Flour
Until mixture is smooth
Remove and let cool (at least 130F)
1 Egg
½ tsp Vanilla Extract
Blend/Mix until smooth
Place into piping bag
Fry @ 350F until golden
Toss in cinnamon/sugar
Cinnamon Sugar:
½ Cup Sugar
~1 tsp Cinnamon
Caramel sauce:
1 Cup Sugar
½ Cup Water
Medium High
~360F
1 Cup Whipping Cream (room temp)
1 tsp Kosher Salt
1 tsp Vanilla Extract

    Dang, I really wish I had found your videos earlier in my life. Came on here because I'm making your awesome Chowdar again today. You are the only cooking lessons I share on line. I am not a good cook but I will tell you that you can totally raise the Umami by using actual Japanese Dashi packets, powder the the Dashi and maybe add a little nutritional yeast and extra bonito flakes.....the reason is MSG, it really is not good for people that already are consuming a lot of processed food and you can get the same flavors the old fashioned way....PM me and I will send you a sample of my mix and then if you like it I will tell you how I make it. BTW, I did not even know what Dashi was until you put HonDashi in your Chowdar......I learned to cook from Betty Crocker (you take any recipe in that cookbook and raise the ingredients up 10 notches and people thing you learned how to make Jambalaya in New Orleans).

      In the video he is using Bird's custard powder. I got mine on amazon, but I've see it at the asian supermarket!

      I've used vanilla instant pudding powder. Bird's custard is often found at regular grocery stores as well.

      You may! It is a "Bella" branded machine. But it's probably like any other bubble waffle machine you'd find online.

    It’s not really juice, it’s more like a flavoured drink, a bottle of Vlt the same size as a Coke has more sugar and has added alot of stuff so I wouldn’t classify it as a juice box
