Yap, the MCD is pure BS and you probably have it in your fork. It should act as the ,,brain,, for much less money but it doesent work properly at all and it degrades the suspension work. So,what could you do? You need to cut the hook on your lockout button and when you want to go full travel,turn it as much as it goes .This will shut down the cartridge completely and you will have full working of the suspension. When you want to lock the fork,turn couple of circles till you lock it fully.Yes your gonna turn that button a couple of circuits but all that is to avoid engagement of MCD which totally sucs. Also,if you wanna encrease the working if the fork as much as you can,take the preload out,take out the spring and grease the hell out of it and then put it back in the fork. Also use machine oil or motor oil and lube the hell out inside of the lower legs.Thats everything you could do and you will be surprised that XCM could become for at least 35 procent better than it is untouched.
