King Curtis' Hot Potato (Piping Hot) was the original Chicago "Soul Train" theme.
This is why i hate this show,it just makes republicans and the right side look like idiots, yet liberals are the good guys, why was this show even made?
I love how Ruby has republican values but hates to be classified as one
Older Black ppl especially are very conservative pro life, pro marriage anti-gay, but self interest means gotta vote for the ppl
Love being a 70s baby

It took her 20 minutes to understand
I have to say this show is really racist towards Mexicans lol. But I still love it
Growing up is realizing that being a liberal is being evil and corrupt
Banana Republic lmao 🤣
13:20 Soul Train.
The Sooooooooooooooul Train!
I got criticized by everyone in Small Town Kentucky for being white and watching Soul Train. Got in a lot of fights for being me but I ain’t never quit. I had a black wife in Seattle who was whiter than me. White wife today don’t even understand me. I’m good though because I understand and don’t care who doesn’t. 🇺🇸
The hippest trip in America
"SOUL TRAIN, television's longest-running, first-run, nationally syndicated music program in television history, and the hippest trip in America. 60 non-stop minutes across the tracks in your mind into the exciting world of soul."
Biden had this on repeat...
When rainbow and ruby cry in
I’m Dre because I’m black the Donald trump part made me laugh
I always loved to watch that TV dance party from 1971 until around 2007...I love that kind of music and these dark skinned people dancing!
Friend, sorry for my english im a italian boy. The title track at 9:00???? Please
Every Saturday at 1 pm Caribbean time we'd hurry with our chores as teens to look at Soul Train and wished could go to the USA to go on the dance show .
Soul train 🚆 was every black folks show rest in peace Mr Don Cornelius and sid Mccoy
There's one intro missing around 74 or 75
Notice even the old Soul Train cartoon looked tired in its final season
The 1980s had some of the best music ever whether it was R and B, Funk, Dance, Pop or Rock it was all good music and I was a teen during that time period and I reveled in it because it was exciting asF!
Kids today will never kno ❤❤
People talk about Republicans are for civil rights: They hate homosexuals Mock black people when thier civil rights are violated They only care about issues when they're affected or its something they don't like They care more about conspiracy theories than facts
Gonna need the song name for 6:00 (Edit: never mind found it, O'Byran - Soul Train's A'Comin')
On God I heard David A Arnold voice when he’s a black republican 😂😂😂😂 im happy Joan finally got a family bc whew I was worried watching girlfriends 😂😂😂😂
Thanks for posting! It brings out good memories ❤
Hggffddsssaaaaadfgghjjklllll 7:03
Soul Train was the way to end after Saturday morning cartoons ended. It was a Saturday afternoon diverson.
😂😂😂, the ironic thing is, both republicans and democrats take advantage of black people for they're own benefits, with little to no return
😂
I discovered the man who says, "Souuuuul Train" in the intro, Joe Cobb, owns a gourmet popcorn business in the town I live in. I went yesterday to get some popcorn and meet him but he's only there on weekends. I bought popcorn anyway but am going back soon to meet this legend.
This is stupid -_- I try to see the humor in the show I just don't get it
Tim scott harris faulkner
Yes they both would rather be expected than tell the truth.... Some black people you need let go of
The only good intros feature the scream: "It's the SOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUULLLLLLLL TRRRAAAiiinnn.

I remember when “Soul Train” started in Chicago in 1970. It started in a small studio in the Board of Trade Building in the south Loop. They used the music from the first intro shown here, but they used video of an actual train. I think it was in 1972 when Cornelius took the show to Los Angeles and put it into syndication.
"Compassionate", "tolerance", "acceptance". Now that's a laugh. 😂 Totally accurate politics.
So are black republicans the perpetual losers of the black community?
This is how insane the democrats have brain washed and indoctrinated the black community. And all they do I create policy that destroys their lives.
Ironic how the Soul Train tagline was "The Hippest Trip In America", when there were folks around the world watching the show! Didn't matter if it was South Africa, UK or Japan; people were jammin'! I seriously say they should re-air the show from start to finish. Lots of good music I missed out on (but also grew up on) as I was born in 1984
My favorite one is O’Bryan’s
I was shocked about the tragic death of longtime creator of "Soul Train" Don Cornelius. After 35 seasons, I wish the show could be bringing it back on syndicated TV after a 2006 final goodbye. My favorite moment on the show was when Don made a plan to put rap, dance, and R&B to the next level in the late 80s, and I saw a first rap performance by LL Cool J. After he left the show in 1993, there were a lot of changes including the new host idea and the scribble board, but the Soul Train line was a phenomenon. I was watching Charlie's Angels The Movie and there was a scene where Cameron Diaz was doing the Soul Train line dancing to the song "Baby Got Back." That was so hilarious. I missed the show very much and my hearts go out to Don's family and friends. And as he said for the final time in his famous quote: "I'm Don Cornelius. And as always in part, we wish you Love, Peace, and Sooooooooulllllll! My favorite Soul Train theme songs was "Soul Train's a Comin'" by O'Bryan, "TSOP '87" and "TSOP '89" by George Duke and from the 1987-1989 seasons and the 1989-1993 seasons, "Know You Like To Dance" by Naughty by Nature and from the 1993-2006 seasons and "TSOP 2000" from 1999 to 2006 by Dr. Freeze.
God I miss the Soul Train ..............
Soul train was my show back when I was growing up I couldn't wait until Saturday evening
