What is the app
It's just a Bluetooth controller
So many of the vids on youtube don't demo the sound with the motor running... so appreciate that! Wish everyone did that.
No problem man glad I could help !
Do you tie down the chain tensioners ?
No because the plastic tracks allow slippage on the rubber tire
Exactly the video I needed thanks man and props for bazooka taking care of the issue that’s always a good feeling
Good post
Thx man
Aimed too low
I dont find them to be to bad I put them low so I don't super blind people lol
Are the Formula alive?
It's getting there had a bunch of hiccups but need to get a update video should be water ready in a week or 2
I have an 8x8 Conquest, old style which I got about 4 years ago for moose hunting (moos recovery beast) with the so called "swimming" tires... The truth about these machines which Argo do not want you to know is that they do not swim worth a toss with tires alone, I can paddle it faster. I would like to work out an enclosed twin propeller which plugs into the hitch receiver & is driven by the engine for mine but one project at a time, this year is a winch mount that moves from front to rear & wireless remote control plus more aggressive tires. It is an awsome machine in any sort of swamp, muskeg or mud provided you still have some root matter in the soup to grip on.
Yea the previous one we had was a Bigfoot and it did about 4mph in the water the new one has better tires but still probably 7mph in water but you can attach an outboard engine on the back
@@quadit321 You did better than me! All mine does is cause cavitation with the Runamuck tires...I use an oar in water.
@@davidbrewer7937 oh wow that's not good I don't know if maybe it's a issue with the 8x8? But my dad's friend had an 8x8 and don't recall it being that bad this new one is much better ill get a video of it in the water.
@@quadit321 I use a small outboard but in weedy, restricted water it sucks. I have already ordered new tires for it, ITP Mud Lites 22x11-8 to relpace the Runamuck 22x10-8s because I would rather have better traction than this horrible swimming "capability" from what I see as virtually slick tires. I want to try making some kind of paddles to clip on the rear pair from conveyor belting...dunno if it will work...
@@davidbrewer7937 nice let me know how they work out
Ram 🐏 🤜🏻🤛🏼
Ain't going to deny the hemi paired with a 391 rear end they move
Great video, I have been trying to figure what the big difference is between the old argos and the new ones, and this helped a ton thanks!
No problem I'll di a full video on it once I have some time
Hi Jake. Great video. I've been looking to get a used avenger model. I like the idea of liquid cooled although the frontier model is much cheaper do you ever have it overheat going slow through the swamp. Maybe I would change my mind. What about heat in the winter? I'm also in Ontario. Thanks.
Never had any issues with over heating. We had a Bigfoot before this one by the time we sold it had something like 2400 hours on it no issues. And I'm in southern Ontario about a hour north of Toronto. Winter its great we haven't had enough snow for the tracks but if we get like 3 feet plus you will want tracks
Well the onky issues I recall with the Bigfoot were axles wearing and bearings but I do believe they have improved the axle design
@@quadit321 thanks for replying. I just subscribed. I've never owned an argo so info from guys like you is really appreciated. My main purpose for an argo is to get into some back lakes (20 to 30 kilometers of mud and swamp trails) so I would need to tow a small trailer with camping/fishing gear, small boat/motor and of course food gas and beer for a week. That's why I was wondering about air vs. Liquid cooled. Towing would make the argo work harder but if you've found no issues then air cooling might be the way to go.
@@keithrenaud3380 I tow with mine all the time we used it to get wood from the bushfire the fire in the house Argo also makes a floating trailer you can pull we have put the machine thru the paces if it was going to break I would know.. you do need to watch for stumps when in tall grass I have seen people punch holes in them but it's not easy
How much does this cost?? All the videos out there, but is it a secret what cost is?? No one will come out and say. Oh, you can go to this website and ask or call us---bah bah bah, cry me a river, wha wha!!
You have quite a price range with Argo models this one has the better transmission the bugger tires was ballpark 18k but I'm fairly sure you could be around 14k cad$ if you went base base model.. the tracks we picked up used now I don't exactly remember the number but around 2500$ seems familiar . Hope that was any help best way to see would go to a local outdoors show or local to you dealer abd see what prices they can give you on floor models.. this way you can see the price range on the models
Does it have fm radio?
I honestly cannot remember sorry
@@quadit321 thanks for responding bk
Did you get rid of it? I've got one coming today and hope it's worth it.
I am looking at purchasing2021 600
Nice that is a good unit you will definatly enjoy it
What size winch do you have on your argo
3500lb
Does your argo have front Axel extensions for snow plow
Yes has them. It's nice they have a spot for tie downs when trailering.
What type of argo Frontier ? 600 650 or 700
700
That Formula transom looks sad :( Cool boat tho! Sr1 is one of my favorite. Looking forward to see next video!
Wow, & ya there are some tracks a bit more aggressive, still quite impressive. I definitely would want this over &above a side by side anyday.
That patch may be a result of someone changing drive styles
Very true , I did find out that it hit something and ruined the old drive
Fantastic! Can’t wait to see the progress!
Those lights are badass! Where’d ya get em?
Man this is great !! Please document stuff. And the 454 mag what can will u use to get good HP out if it. I have a 454 .030 over , forged crank , Chevy hp. Factory rods. And square port heads.
I am doing 850 carb, high rise intake manifold , cam, lifters , hydraulic roller rockers and tappets also the stainless marine exhaust. The mag has square port heads so doing to do some valve work and head work shooting for just between 5 and 550
What grit are u using ??
I also bought a assorted pack the 60 grit was great for removing the heavy stuff then we t to the 80 for the smaller stuff
Please post other I have ripped out the transom and just need to grind wood to fiber glass
IM IN MIAMI IM BUILDING ONE TOO
Hey man GREAT VIDEOO
Cool, keep uploading! The 242 is hard to do relative to other boats because of the "box" and the glass cockpit mold that is in the way on some of them
Yea I was looking at that and looks like it could be a little tight mightbe why it was triangle cut one the corners but will find out soon
Looking good I’m about to do the same thing to my 85 formula 242 sport fisherman
Sweet man im trying to get video while I work doing this and a cigarette and possibly a 27 magnum
Hi Jake how much for the tracks size and where did you buy them? CHEERS!!
Found them used they are the plastic snow ones they were around 2k
@@quadit321 AWESOME THANKS
Having headers is a must on the RAM, because they are known for breaking bolts on the original stock manifolds (aluminum expands differently then steel). Not only that, but increases horse power. I have a 2019 RAM 4x4 and will be adding these modifications on purpose. Will probably also add an all aluminum intake as well.
Nice vid 👍
Are they water proof? Mine won't turn on the lights will but not the power to the stero
It's supposed to be waterproof I have seen guys submerge them. I never had a issue and used a hose to clean it
I did have a faulty one where bluetooth stopped working tho they sent me new one after that
Are these the single or Chase
Single.. my next set I'll go with the double chase ones.. wanted to see how they lasted in canadian weather salt snow etc before i spent the extra money but they have been great no issues at all..
octane jake how bright do they get?
@@DaddyAces they are fairly bright they light the whole bottom side of the truck the rear is more visible while driving with my truck I'm running 20s and the larger breaks up front block a little bit of the light but brightness is not a problem you can see it from far away and the lights themself are ehing the wheel so they wouldn't get you trouble from the cops
Do recommend until this day
How good does it sound 3/4 or 1/2 way up? Does the bass distort when you turning up that loud or does it still sound good I'm looking for a soundbar
Sound quality was good up loud. Now depending on song if your full blast it will distort a little but for me the price of this bar and its quality and sound cannot be beat also if you like lights it has lights
That pipe work man it's nice!!! Looking forward to see this thing rip.
What is the name of the app?
Bazooka app it's in the directions when you buy the soundbar
What bumpers do you have on there i especially like the front one
Trail fx mid duty they arent crazy heavy but much stronger than the factory
Keep up the good work. You deserve more views. Have you heard of zmsocial”dot”com!? I think it would really help you grow your channel.
I can take my stock 08 ram with the 5.7 and drag any truck on the road garenteed I've already whooped a new Ford and Chevy
That's a bold statement saying any truck on the street. But I'll be honest my 6 speed 5.0 is quick bit there is some fast trucks out there my buddy has a new denali 6.2 and it destroyed me lol
No you haven't... lmfao. 5.0 10 speed would spank a hemi no problem. Let alone a 3.5 and 3.5HO F150.
@@popwarhomie the dealer gave me a 10 speed 3.5 as a loaner and I had it for 2 days put 2 years of wear on the rear tires Haha
I’d love to get a new 10 speed but seems the eco boost and 5.0s are having issues 18+
@@popwarhomie yea man.. honestly I'm probably selling my 5.0 and getting a 07 f350 6.0 I have a f250 6.0 and love it once you build a 6.0 right they are a blast

Rappers are for candy ......
Pretty cool toys! I really want a Argo. I also have a sxs but I feel like a Argo would be so much fun on winter. Where abouts do you ride?
I'm in ontario and an argo you can go anywhere really I have done lots of sudbury mattawa etc when the snow gets super deep the tracks are a must though after you add tracks your unstoppable
@@quadit321 awesome. I'm north of toronto.

Is that the 24"
Yes the 24
I love a parade...excellent.. should do this every year.. Thanks again for sharing.
Yall better tread lightly with this unit. I got mine a month ago and it started malfunctioning the first time it got wet. By the 3rd time it got wet i couldnt even use it anymore. It is in for repair now but we will s3e how long it lasts
