I get asked a ton about Ricochet on Pres, but it really is that easy to cover on any key level, I think once you get the few tricks down there that boss will feel like a breeze!

@@ryersonlive So the tip = Echo/echo/echo/VA just before the damage lands? Are you always using VA on yourself, if so why?

The two particular reasons for VE self are one, I always get the mastery benefit on myself. The second is that my timing on this fight is very important, I don’t want to be moving or displaced as the ricochet deals such a significant amount of damage, my microseconds matter as to how much time I have to start casting my next ability. If I verdant to a far team member, I could have someone die in the first second

Either approach is fine, I think using VE before the damage event lands is fine or after, depending on how much healing you need. If your team won’t die in one second then VE after the damage event is more throughput

TA dream breath is fine and very good when used in stasis, you’ll see I use that combo a lot. The issue is that TA into reversion over most regular parts of a key provides better damage (life spark procs), will provide you with essence burst, and will give you grace period uptime for unexpected or expected healing. Dream breath is very mediocre this season, it has its use cases for sure but you’ll have better time most of the time just using TA for reversion uptime

You would have to play them seperate, which is a big time loss. I think the comfort part of this pull is deciding as to whether or not you have the damage CDs and defensives to pull this off, I honestly think it's very worth it as this strategy saves 45sec to 1min depending on your damage, and prevents your dps from holding cds as well

Honestly it's a massive healing increase if you do the combo correctly, and let's you focus on damage. glad you found it helpful!

life spark is insanely powerful with lifebind, it's not talked enough about in guides but you can see especially in this video how much value I get out of it

The best way to farm essence burst is through hitting reversion often and maximizing your chronoflame casts. Doing healer dps will reward you with essence burst frequently, so try and weave in some bolts here and there, and use TA reversion blanketing often and you’ll see a big change!

shouldn't be a problem if you're geared. if you're committing everything because of aggeo either you're not gathering properly, or your dps aren't respecting the gather

Yup! if you don't want to teleport, hover whilst standing still. if you want to hover and not teleport but hover forward you need to be jumping

I am not raiding this tier, so I mostly keep the same gear on. When I go to raid I just use a mastery flask :) otherwise I stack haste for m+

@ I think having low haste is killing me in m+.

@@Estarianne2000 it probably is, there's a weird misconception thrown around that it's "bad" and "not useful" because on paper it isn't our highest "simming" stat, but it's in practice the best feeling stat in m+ because of how important cadence is

@ that's exactly where I run into trouble, like damage that comes out too fast and all my heals are slow lol. Meanwhile I'm doing a ton of overhealing because my heals are also huge.

@@Estarianne2000 yeah, the pres theorycrafters are very bright people and meanwell but there's a lot you just can't put into a vacuum for keys. I would recommend dropping some mastery for crit/haste, you'll have a much better time :) don't drop all mastery, but try evening out some stats!

Depends on your comp, if you have a shaman they can use jet stream to clear these debuffs. I don';t think the dispel outweighs how powerful the actual throughput is from your empowereds, but if you find that it helps you i don't think it's bad by any means. Some classes can clear their snare, so it might be wasted, but comes down to your feeling for how much throughput you need on the fight

glad you've enjoyed! I find for my own self review just walking through things for myself is super helpful in determining what I need to do to better execute a dungeon

very rarely do I use TA for a lifebind ramp. it is significantly weaker than manual echoes, I prefer to use TA for reversion blanketing. You can see that all of my echo "ramps" in this video involve manual echoes with minor exceptions :)

definitely. tanking is all about confidence, learn what pulls you struggle with, and go next level. I wouldn't over practice any level, it's better to fail a level up and learn than to be stuck the level below, I throw myself into as high as possible and then regress a little bit. this way I can calibrate to what my LIMIT is as opposed to what I'm scared of. good luck, just don't over think it - trust your self and if you die don't be hard on yourself, go next!

Glad you enjoyed! with regards to Spiritbloom, when I take my mouse off of my frames i have it so that it self targets to me. Usually if I know I want my spiritbloom on myself I'll either mouseover myself or remove the target completely so that it goes to me

I think it's more the mindset that people should respect gameplay more than gear. You can do a lot in this game with less gear, and I don't think it should ever be an excuse for players! get out there, practice, and gameplay>gear

Regarding the soothing voice, I suggest (Force, cough cough) that my wife watch WoW videos to improve game play and she really hates watching these videos because people talk so fast and appear in your face. She has enjoyed yours as do I. Keep them coming; you are making me a better Presvoker

correct, during my lifebind ramp, i don't always need the full rank spiritbloom to top my party, but often speed/cadence is more important than absolute maximum throughput

yes in two situations: 1) tank healing/single target burst healing - echo version is insanely powerful for tank healing due to golden hour. It should be and typically is your top tank healing 2) through temporal anomoly - this gives your party grace period (increased healing received) as well as increases the chance for lifespark procs

@ damn.. I’ve just started to play prev evoker and there’s just so much stuff to learn and it seems so complex xd but so fun to learn, do you ever cast a single living flame to heal or just dps.

@ Also the last boss of grim is really hard to heal, in a 10 I always lose at least 1 dps to the ring (and have the circle dot on them) some of them takes way to much dmg!
