Thanks Craig, I was just watching your Ordu video and found out you were making more videos! These videos are beautiful and go through alot of not-commonly talked about Turkish cities.
Thanks a million for your honorary visit and amazing presentation Mr Burnie .🙏💐

thanks for visiting to our city, we're waiting all of you!
Not only urfa but you have alot of other cities in Turkiye that have realy good food like hatay, adana, trabzon, mersin, bursa, istanbul, konya.
❤❤❤❤
Your “çiğ köfte” pronunciation is flawless. 👏🏽
Chef, if you are still in Urfa, I would like you to try the menengiç coffee at the customs house. I don't want you to miss such a delicious taste. Welcome back to our city🫶🏻
I am from Urfa, I live in Istanbul. Thank you, Uncle Burnie, for introducing this ancient city, its culture and delicious food to the world.
Wowww ive watched so many v logs but this one is termendous, covering different cities and all aspects related to its modernization and history 👍
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thank You
Hello there, you said that you love eggplants but you didn't even put a single piece of grilled eggplant on your wrap 😅 also, you'd put grilled tomato instead of a raw tomato to your wrap , thanks for sharing the local culture!
Nice documentary 👍🏻
Amazing
Göbeklitepe is the world's oldest known temple center, approximately 7,500 years older than the Egyptian Pyramids and the Stonehenge Monument in England.
Been there in 2018 from Romania as part of a month long motorcycle tour. The main target for me was GobekliTepe and hope to revisit now in 2025. This time I wand to also go to Mardin and Mydiat, if not ever farther east.
Hi Burnie, It is great to see you continuing exploring Turkey. But, I am afraid that you'll give up living in Sinop and move to Antep or Urfa. Don't worry no one will blame on you. Unfortunately, Sinop cusine is not as developed as these cities. I agree with other comments about eating eggplants. One small cue, lahmacun is served with uncooked veggies, but kebabs are good with roasted ones except onion.
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼Thank You!!
I love your videos and your explanation style.Crauíg Please don't go to America, stay here,
Beautiful Urfa is the homeland of Lahmacun.
Thanks for the video Craig.
Exactly! Not restored. One of them my grandparents/family did. I loved visiting my grandparents in a grand timber house in the village on Black Sea. It was like one of those grand houses in Miami but from wood. It had 3 stores and every store had 2 toilets. Each room had its own bathroom. As a child I was scared to go into the room's bathroom because it was small and everything was from wood! Even the seat in the bathroom was built into the bathroom. To this day I can't not figure out how that the water didn't leak into the room from a wooden bathroom, and dried so quick. The house was left from my grand-grand parents. My grandparents moved to the city later on, the house not looked after, ran down. Instead of restoring, they pulled down the house and sold the land with its garden. Garden had a different sections - a bread making area '' wood fire " as well as an oven for the other meals, fruits and vegetable garden and a seating area. A beautiful history has vanished and my heart hurts.
@@narniadan Amazing!!
I really enjoyed the video. Thank you. The only thing is a Black Sea music would have been a better choice IMHO. Nettles are a common food source on Black Sea region as well as dill, cabbage , beetroots, fish, hazelnuts and tea. That place under the trees was so cool.
' Kadayif ' It has been translated in to Turkish as " as you're eating this you are eating a uncooked peacock '' 😂 Exactly '' sarma '" Wrapped . And any meal that's filled is ' Dolma ' i.e.Sweet pepper Dolma, Aubergine Dolma...
I have noticed they put ' pomegranate syrup ' to make the food cheaper instead of ' fresh lemon ' Fresh lemon cost more but healthy. Pomegranate is healthy but ' pomegranate syrup ' used which is hardly any pomegranate but filled with sugar and pomegranate flavouring. Customers should refuse this latest trick that has been going on the last couple of years. I refuse to eat at establishments that use pomegranate syrup which indicates low quality food and un-trustable establishment.
I really respect to your exertion uncle Burnie , We are grateful to you for showing us such a beautiful country.
Thank you for the images of Göbeklitepe, such quality images are very difficult to find even on the internet 🙏
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
You must eat eggplant with kebab 😅
Sümer in başkenti Ur, burası da Urfa.. tesadüf mü?? elbette değil..

Awesome sincere video. I love your commentary, it is poetic! keep it up!
Most of the food you eat in this video is vegetarian, Gaziantep is famous for lahmacun kebabs and baklava, most people in Turkey do not know that there are vegetarian dishes in Gaziantep,
Siz iştahla lahmacun yediğinizde ; ben de orada olmak istedim. 😁
Another great video, but you should eat the eggplant kebab together with the eggplant. You should have peeled the eggplants and stuffed them generously inside.
It's really nice to see you enjoying it, but eggplant kebab can't be eaten like that hahaa
