I am looking for a mini colouring book, but they all seem to have really thin paper! I got the Joanna Basford one which had lovely paper, but it was too difficult for my eyes. And these other ones look to be very flimsy. How did you find actually using them?

This other coloring channel I watch, my mind is blank, but if I remember her name I will drop it. She actually mentions an app that lets you scan or manually add them, almost like a virtual library. She uses to know what she has & how many copies. Lol I totally agree with you, that one book could have had extra swatch pages instead

You are so good at this! I would have found it helpful to have a swatch of the colours with their names in order on a sheet of paper beside the picture. I don’t have copics and want to follow along and try and match colours with my Ohuhus!

I think Deborah said "a little from all the books." Which is kind of misleading. I think she means only a few pages are taken from each book, which makes up a large percent of the book.

The deer has a sundial in its horns, and the one you thought were slugs are cute we axolotls

The girl on the ring, its a whale shadow that is under her. And the other page looks like sea otters with the girl under the ocean blanket

For the circles around objects, if its a light source then just to the inside of the line i colour it in yellow thrn use my tooli art paint pens to go around in pale yellow or white and remove the black line at the end once the page is coloured

I really like that new Mythographic book.....hmm may need to add to collection. I pre-ordered the shooting star book as well and received it yesterday. Mine does not have a mark. It looks like oil to me. I really like the Aviary and Enchanted Mythographic books.Good flip.

I won't purchase, and need to return, Mythographic Mythical Beasts due to it containing far.... too many snakes, serpents and long squiggly things for the comfort of one who has an animosity and aversion to them. I enjoyed seeing Maria Trolle's newest project, Shooting Star. Thank you for locating quality issues and oddities. It's nice to about these early growing pains to avoid disappointment upon receiving the book. However, it is a shame because issues such as artwork being cut short and having inconsistent sizing cause this beautiful book to feel less polished then her previous works. The spot on the first spread appears to be ghosted on the back/reverse page. Therefore I don't think it is intentional. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I really miss the titles of the pages in the Mythographic books, it guided me to what the artist intended😂

That spot isn't on my copy. I had something weird like that on one page of my Moon Valley book though. It was small, so I just kept it, but it looked exactly the same. I don't know what it is either? It doesn't look like ink to me, looks like some weird paper defect or something? I will say, I had an issue with Summer Nights once, way back when it first came out. The paper was some weird kids coloring book paper. I contacted the publisher Gibbs Smith about it. They told me the wrong paper had been used on a large batch of books, and quickly sent me a new copy. They let me just keep the defective one. Their customer service was very good. I was wanting to see that Mythographic book. Thanks for the flips!

first "flip through" of the new mythographic I spotted on youtube :) I think I like it and I also can't wait for the other mythographic books that will still come besides the rainbow one magyk apothecary I'm curious about the dragonspell one, which releases next year :) I like to many of the mythographic books to really have a favorite >.< So far I'm not sure if I like the new maria trolle book or not...we will see....and I don't think that spot is normal...

The Wolfman is my favorite classic monster movie. I love the two page transformation, but it doesn’t look like Chaney. It looks more like Lugosi who played Dracula.

Thanks for sharing the books. I have the universal monsters book on the way. The lady in the book where you said I know her, she’s the old school bride of Frankenstein 🤭. I’m not a fan of the Maria book. It seems lacking to me compared to her previous. Just my opinion. But I did enjoy all of your flips! Have a wonderful evening!

On the blend color page. You take the color on the top. You blend it with the colors going down the row. The boxes are what the two colors become. You do that for every color going across the top horizontally with the ones going down the line vertically. So you are making rows of colors of the color on top going down the line.
