Brilliant! I've had this issue for yrs on my 07 Taco. Simply jiggled the switch & all settings work. If it continues I'll just replace that component. Easy fix, thanks!

Any idea how to hard reset the radio on your model? I’ve read hold the hang up button, but that doesn’t work for mine.

Rust needs to be cleaned off the hubs with a wire wheel or such or you risk warped rotors upon tightening

Excellent video and thank you so much. I was able to put the caliper back on the bracket without removing the electronic emergency brake device. I just squeezed the piston all the way back and then I was able to get it back on by sliding the top part on first and then putting the bottom part over the brake pads last. Hard to describe, but I hope that makes sense.

mine doesn't lift at all. it pumps up just a little bit but at the end of the pump it falls back down. Would this fix my issue?

I have a 2013 Tacoma. Advanced Auto had the blower motor resistor RUC1025 for 45.99 so I decided to replace it. Passenger side, towards the firewall. It has two odd sized screws holding it in place. I didn’t need to replace the wiring harness that came with the part, just the resistor. 😊

Upvote for a TPE or rubber bed mat. That factory spray-in liner is brutal on my knees.

I recommend removing the brake fluid reservoir cap before compressing the caliper pistons. Remember to replace the reservoir cap after both caliper pistons are compressed.

It probably would've worked a lot easier if you would've pushed your calipers back to begin with before you took the caliper off and also you should be showing people the proper way of doing it of cleaning all the rust dirt and debris out of the caliper before putting the pads back in, that's why your pads are worn on evenbecause they're not moving freely

So after I did the driver side I now have all these errors on dash showing up saying top speed is 43moh max, service trailer breaks, and the break light stays on if the parking break was on but it's not.

I would suggest that you would replace the pins otherwise they will be corroded and a real pain to remove next time

That is not a hex bolt it takes a torx tip to get the rotor bolt out. Just got done on Saturday helping a friend with his 2020 silverado at 30000 miles. Can only conclude that the metal in the rotors is inferior metal. Maybe the new rotors are of better quality. Have done many disc brake jobs have never seen the rotors wear the way these did. Leaving grooves on the inside of the rotors.

You should grease up the caliper pins as well. That could be the reason why only the back pad is worn.
