Proof it happened! A large green turtle buzzed by during a safety stop at Fly Point, Nelson Bay, Australia.

This dull green nudibranch stands out with its fluorescent pink and black spots. Quite rare and only known to inhabit northern New South Wales and the southern Great Barrier Reef.

Nelson Bay is one of the few habitats of the critically endangered Grey Nurse Shark (Carcharias taurus). Using a closed circuit rebreather I had the absolute privileged to hang out with these guys while they showed totally different behavior to when diving normal scuba and allowed me to take some great video of both adult males and females, plus some rowdy juveniles!
