Beer steamed and braised hot dogs and hash browns for supper #hotdog #hotdogrecipe
These are very flavorful and a great way to enjoy hotdogs in the colder months when grilling them isn't an option.
I took two cups of water and 2 heaping teaspoons of beef bouillon. You can also just use a can of beef broth.
add in
1 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon mustard seed
1 teaspoon minced garlic
let boil for about 15 to 20 minutes
Then add onions to a skillet I like an iron skillet with a little bit of butter and cook until caramelized.
Add in your hot dogs and steam with more beer and broth that you boiled them in. get them caramelized and enjoy with your favorite toppings.
Enjoy!
If you want to support me by sending me items to use in my home. I now have an amazon wish list for me as well as for Andy.

Lets Pick a Winner!!! and Make some Fresh Tomato Salad Dressing
Looks like a good meal to me. I love Members Mark all beef weiners. So good. I like to slit one and pan fry. Just slap it on a piece of bread with mustard is all I need for a quick bite.
I used to buy those all the time In a big box of 80 or 100 or something like that but are not eating as many hotdogs as we used to. So I just buy smaller packages. I used to pop them in the air fryer or oven. And they are really good that way too 🌭🌭
@@lgougeinthekitchen I sure didn't know you could buy a big box of those weiners.
I live in northern NY we used to have 2 lums restaurants they closed in early 90s
Ours didn’t last very long. But I remember wanting to go just bc they were cooked in beef. And I wasn’t old enough to drink so I thought it was cool.
It’s cute.. very cool lady.
Ahh thanks
Tell hubby we’re more into seeing your gorgeous aprons than his hats 😂
Heheh
I thought oh no. She had her tooth pulled and now her head hurts 😂. Or she has the mumps. 😮. Little did I know you had a cheeky husband. That meal looks delicious. When I do hot dogs if I don’t have chili I like to have Ranch Style beans with them. You look so hot, dogg!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Seems like ball park recently seems to be loaded with more sodium. Has anybody else noticed it?
I haven’t noticed that. But then again we really don’t eat that many hotdogs. Just every month or so we have them. And I never eat but one. Hehehe
Too much sugar!
Yes it was. But it was still good. Next time I will cut the sugar!!
😂…well I did ask for something different! Lols…🤗 …bonus I get to use my ACV in something else! When I dress the salad 🥗 with ACV…hubby says, “oh smelly salad again!” 😂
It is really good! You will love it!!!
I was fixing to say something lol
😜😜
Anytime I make a potato salad, I will add about 3 or 4 tablespoons of French dressing and it not only adds an additional little flavor but makes the potato salad a pretty light salmon color. Very pretty.
That looks like something I’d love once in awhile. Homemade French Dressing 1 C white sugar 1 C veg oil (canola) 1/2 C catsup 1/2 C apple cider vinegar 1 small onion finely chopped or 1/4 C dehydrated onion 1 T Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp minced garlic Blend together Add chicken to crockpot Blend 1 can whole cranberry sauce and two C French dressing. Pour over salted and peppered chicken. Cook on low for 4 to 6 hrs. Serve over Rice, potatoes or noodles.
It is really good you will love it!!!
Hey Lynne. I thought the first cake looked good. Sometimes I like a dense cake just like a dense donut. Then other times I like the light fluffy cake or donut. I can go either way. TFS God Bless.
I think you’d like this one. It's not super dense.
Extra cinnamon is good by me.
Always. Yummmmm😋😋
Looks so good.
You will love it!
Hey Lynne, It's SupperTime!!! It was so nice meeting you at the election poll. My candidate won, Trump 2024 /USA 🇺🇸
What was the brand name of the 🥓 bacon? I hadn't seen that package before.
It’s just a members mark brand from Sam’s club. Any brand will Work as long as it’s real bacon or just fry some and crumble it up works too!!! These are such a hit at any party.
Hello Lynne, thanks for sharing...it's suppertime again 🎵🎶🎵🎶
Hey there Lynne, enjoy your channel.
Thank you for watching! 😊
Hi Lynne Soup looks great and I love fried cornbread. My mom made it and we always had molasses to drag the bread through. Great video but missed Andy. Did he like the soup?
He did. He loves any kind of soup!!! Will be making more soups as the weather gets colder this winter.
Day “made” 😂
😊😊😊
I have 3 large jugs full of utensils taking up space on my counters. I'm gonna steal your idea of organizing them into a draw ❤❤ Soup looks delicious .
Mine are all n storage baskets organized and on the shelves in the cabinet. Easy and keeps them cleaner.
What is fried cornbread? Is it where you put a bit of oil in a cupcake tin and place your batter in there and bake? Or in a skillet?
It’s cornbread that is fried like pancakes. In a skillet or on a griddle. Easy and delicious!!!!
Nice to see your hubby, it’s nice to see you have some support, I can tell you put a lot of work in your videos, soup looks delicious, enjoy❤
He’s a big help, and I love that he’s always there to make me laugh! 😂
Hi Lynne - Do you make and sell aprons?
I do. I have an Etsy store. Check it out. Link is in the description
Hi Lynne , this is Glennis I still watch your videos but, I don't comment I know how hard it is to keep up with everything I am # 27 on the thumbs up. have a great day.
Thank you for watching Glennis!! I appreciate you 😊
? I want to freeze my onions peppers and celery do you flash freeze 1st because mine comes out mushy❤
No I do not. I just chop and freeze. But always cook the water out of them first before adding to anything
Hello Lynne,Andy! Have a great day and enjoy your meal!
Thanks you too! Andy's always happy to get extra love. 😊
Hey Lynne. How ya doing? This looks so good and Fallish. I need to try to make some fried corn bread. That also sounds good. Say a big HELLO to Andy for me. TFS
I'm doing well thanks and you'll love this soup! Andy says hi. 👋
Oh my goodness, these look so good. They would be good with a little sliced green onions on top just before serving. Thank you for another great recipe, Lynne!
Oh that would be good!!!
Another great idea! Your precious little dog stopped by to say hi 🐶😊
She’s always there when I’m filming. I think she knows it’s snack time! 🍟🐶
G’day Lynne…all I can say is my jeans ‘ain’t gonna fit’ me anymore! 🤭 😱 👖
Just a good reason to go shopping 🛍️ 💶🧑🍳
It's cheaper to buy the bottle of ranch mix than buying the packages.
I prefer the taste of the buttermilk seasoning better. I buy the bottles and my son uses them for dipping everything in. So I buy both 😊
Yum!!! So going to try!
They're so good. You will love them!! 🥰
Should we spray the holes a lil before putting taters in
Maybe. But my pan was nonstick so I didn’t. 😊
Only thing missing is a lil coarse ground black pepper, in my book
I should have added some pepper. But forgot. 😂
I love this easy peasy idea. Thanks Lynne.
You'll love them!! 😊😊
That looks so good, I need to make that soon. Save!
You'll love it. It is really good!!!
I’m like you, don’t care for sweet potatoes but I thought I would check out how you made fries. I would be open to trying them. 😁
You’ll be surprised! They’re so good, and very easy to make
Yes I want a bite. Makes my mouth water. Yum. I also think it would be good heated up and a little dolip of ice cream. HELLO Andy. You want some of that cake, don't ya buddy? It was nice to see you today. TFS Lynne. God Bless.
It would be good with a dollop of ice cream. I love it warm too.
If you were an AI video, you would have to program it to throw flour in your kitchen. Haha Looks like im going to make this soon. Gotta buy some cinnamon.
Always keep cinnamon and according to hubbs. Every other spice there is too !!😂😂
You can also use powdered sugar on the outside of your cake with oil first.
That is a great idea. I just always think of cinnamon with apples. 🍎 😋😋
You can also use powdered sugar on the outside of your cake with oil first.
Did you have it for dessert the next night, or was it gone? 😂
We had some left. But he ate his share. 😂😂
Oh, Lynne it looks so good! I would love to move where you live so we can visit and cook together! That would be SO much fun! Hope you're feeling better after your tooth extraction. Tell Andy hi and give him a hug for me. 😊❤
That would be so much fun. I wish I could get together with everyone !!! Thanks I am doing well.
That would be awesome warm up with some butter on a slice with coffee
It’s so good! I love the way it tastes when it’s warm.
😂 “…scorch it just a scooch!!”
Ooooh 😯 Lovely…creamy things!! ✌️😋👍
It’s good! 😋
I rinse n pat thoroughly dry first
Some people do. I never have. And my momma never did. I always wash my chicken. But nothing else. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Yummy !
It was really good!
@@lgougeinthekitchen New England girl here loves all kinds of chowders !!
🥰🥰🥰
Alright, that was too easy. Don't worry about the tooth, but i understand the fear of knowing it's coming.
Tooth was fine and I am doing well!!!🥰🥰
I love any chowder. Thanks Lynn. Andy is such a teaser. My youngest brother was like that. He would sneak up and untie her apron.
He is very much a teaser!!!! Always has been!!!
