I've been through this a couple of times, and when I 'scan' to show the files within WHDload/ nothing comes up in the main list. Any ideas? Also... When I add adfs to my floppy drive slots and 'start' nothing happens from the boot screen. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm on an M1 mac. I tried the previous Intel version to no avail. Help! I must play Shadow of the Beast II one more time!

What if you only have a floppy disk drive? (no mods) -- no USB.

It's actually a hardware-based emulator. I have one on the corner of the table, but I won't use it, it's just like a figure to look at. For people who don't own a retro computer, the Amiga Mini is ideal for the living room.

Nice demo. It should be noted that the HDD "Internal Controller" is only available on machines which actually have a physical HDD controller. Which typically starts only with Pentium machines.

Hello, to answer your question, I will tell you that there is a great Amiga emulator for Nintendo 3ds that turns 3ds into a portable computer. And I want to have the equivalent of Word and Excel on it, so that I can work on a small computer while traveling. It looks very nice🙂

Loved my Amiga and especially the pinball games, Dreams, Illusions & Fantasies were favourites, also liked Cannon Fodder & Desert Strike. About time I got the Amiga mini up & running 🤔

Very weird... Did just like in the video and now WHDLoad is broken. It just won't do nothing when I doubleclick any game. I had older version WHDLoad installed and just installed new one over it. Edit: this was in WinUAE. Then I moved the CF-card to a real Amiga it says "recoverable alert, click mouse to continue" and then it just works... Edit2: the problem was in the game. :)

I used Transword on the ZX Spectrum, it came free with the 48k.

Hi. Come across your video and wanted to give it a try on my pi400. Installation went well up to the point of installing amiberry (latest version). Install of amiberry failed with error about libserialport.h not being found. Just reinstalling v5.3 of amiberry as per the video. Not sure if v5.6.x works or not. Just wondered if youd seen this happen or not?

Is there a big lag when you use an USB joystick? On Amiga Forever the games were unplayable because of that.

The clown image at 8:25 is not, in fact, displayed using the Amiga's HAM mode. You can see from the palette on the left that it's displayed using 64-colour halfbrite mode. The software helpfully explains that in this video as the image is being loaded. It indicates that the original image was saved in 256 colours. It then tells us it's remapping the colours to 64-colour halfbrite mode - and sure enough, that's what we get! That's the explanation for the noticable dithering.

I miss the intro of the games, Amiga stood out at its time for the audio and the game developers did a great with their into's and music, this would have brought back the nostalgia to the max on a mini.

I had DPaint 3 with my A600. One of the rather amateurish works I created was done mostly by testing the smear function. You will never guess what I called it. (Bear in mind I was about 16-18 at the time).

was trying to set up windows 95 with this, was not able to set it up past the boot disc requirement bit, i went to try to mount it then have it boot it, no dice

so i had to cringe every time you edited the conf file bc either youre supposed to create an entirely new file, rename the old, OR comment out the original code and insert a new line underneath with the value you you want. Definitely good practice to share on youtube with potential coding newbies. its good to teach the habits we want to see in the real world. great video!

Extra news Amiberry is now at 6.3.0, supports JIT on x86 and has a dedicated WHDLoad section. Also AGS is now at v2.6.

Just viewed this one and wanted to say thanks again. I got it running ok except for a couple of things: 1) The WHDLoad game icons appear as a small dot rather than the full size icons of the box art which is odd (clicking that still works though) 2) Double clicking Igame does not do anything... I viewed your igame video which I realise did not use HSTWB to get the install of WB done BUT I added the FPU changes and igame still does not work. No error message produced either - any ideas welcome! Thanks again.

After setting up the hard drive and starting up, the DH0 doesn't show up. I'm using the latest WinUAE version (5.2).

For me using games on a usb....you may as well just fully emulate
