I am using two 240GB PNY CS1311 solid state drives. One is installed in the regular hard drive bay, the other is installed in place of the optical drive. I removed the optical drive and bought a second hard drive caddy on ebay. By default, RAID 0 is turned off in the BIOS settings. Only RAID 1 is available to choose. You have to modify a BIOS setting to be able to use RAID 0. Link to the direct...

46:54 - who is that with James?
Kirk is a hell of a player. Glad he’s still with them, losing him would be a colossal loss to the band and their sound. James is a good player too, he probably doesn’t get the credit he should because he’s not the lead guitar, but he couldn’t compensate for the hypothetical loss of Kirk.
18:17 bob haha Jason in met vids don't have a pick. but he used a pick live 99% of the time ...it's just funny in these vids u don't use a pick but live u always have one 29:56 John sadly passed away about 6 months after this..it's around that time.. he was enjoying himself. would of been nice if James would of said something to him when John walked in..shook his hand or something
Skip The Unforgiven video 00:27:00
I was there
29:06. I think Kirk is talking about me. Actually!!
1:28:50 kirk was always wise beyond his years. he knew.
This upload blows. Skipping through ALOT from what I had on VHS. 🫡
YT deleted all the scenes from live in Montreal.
@@loukola5353 you're kidding? God they can be a little sensitive can't they?
@@jackieatkins7003 I am not kidding. They made me remove all the footage from Montreal otherwise they wouldn’t let me upload it.
Hate him or not.. Lars was such a douche. Yet, he's one of the best drummers out there. He just fits the band. What an underrated drummer he is...
Let's see if we can get this guy at least 2 likes 😔
Lars is just like any person
When Lars is good, he’s the perfect fit for the band, no one could sound like that with them. But Lars has days where he can’t keep a 4/4 beat. The most damning evidence of that is on film, aside from live shows where he’s playing too slow/too fast, he’s documented on the Some Kind Of Monster film and he can’t hit a snare on time and when he finally does, he gives up. Like anyone, he has good and bad days, but his are reflected most in his playing. This era? The black album, he was on point. Really hitting on all cylinders, some of the tightest drum arrangements and sounds that Metallica has ever had.
Youg people...now 55 years old
I have VHS
Me too
“We’re having fun here ok? This is fun James.” 🤣🤣🤣 Fucking Bob I swear.

30 years after, those fuckers are still around
36:51 when the wherever may I roam fuitar kicks in😫
Lars is such a douche 😂
Yeah but a lovable douche LOL and a beast on the drums \m/
One of my favorite things about Metallica is that they aren’t a bunch of crackheads they did have there drinks but as James said near the end of the documentary that they stayed away from all the drugs and shit
48:28 Enter Fartman .
52:07-52:37 For some reason, I'm addicted to this part. I just loooooooove to see how many details exist in songs that we sometimes don't even notice, but these details create a unique rich sound. The magic of music P.S. 52:18 I'm laughing because now I can imagine myself in the kitchen with a grater doing this shit while listening to this song 😂
Left off around 42:30
8:18 - KIRKS HAIR? 😭
4:07 What he should've said was.. "Uuh we realized we needed more bass. More Jason instead of throwing him in the background".. like the almost garbage he was treated like. Them never letting him in, simply because he couldn't live up to the fact that he was not born another man in an earlier time. We get it now...; Ego.
I am die hard Metallica everything they do is gold but I think they should have bought Bob Rock back in or at least work with them. Could never miss production wise
Or they should've accepted Jason back, when even themselves wanted to. And then give him some proper bass bottom instead of rendering him in the background like he was nothing. I could be wrong. But I believe Jason was actually asked to come back. I think I heard in the "some kind of monster" documentary. But I also remember Jason actually turning them down. How often do you get to do that? To turn the biggest rock/metal band of all time, down? GOOD for him I say, it had to take guts and a bit of spine to actually do that. And Bob DID go back didn't he? To both co-produce and play bass on St. Anger... Although St. Anger is not exactly the most popular ping-ping-ping sounding snare you have EVER HEARD! Ruined the entire album. Enough said, I'm off work and I need a beer. Cheers Shelly. I hope I didn't offend in any way.
@@mortenhansen3455bring back Jason. Yeah hard fucking pass. Them getting Rob saved them. These 3 new albums kick fucking ass.
Lars - "If you ever need a drumroll....." James "if I ever need a drummer" 😂
Lars; "IF YOU WANT WEIGHT I'M YOUR FUCKING GUY" ...semi long pause.... James; " He'll make us wait forever"! .. 😀
16:25 - Jason refers to Metallica (James, Lars and Kirk) as "they". So he didn't think of himself as part of Metallica even at this point; if he ever did!
29:33 she might have kissed your palm but she sucked lars' drum stick
I like how the cancer kid came in and started with a Mustaine riff XD
1:03:06 😂😂😂
32:05 the porno mag segment of your 90s Metallica video
I have not watch this since it first came out and yet again I am reminded that Lars Ulric is a complete dickhead
hilarious isn't it
51:02 I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say Hetfield does not like it
11:09 was that meant as a Slaughter reference?

Ok I have always wondered what is the long skinny rectangle version of the black album. I have never seen those before. Casettes, vinyl and CDs yes but never that before
They were called Longboxes which simply housed the CD at the top inside of it and was a total space hogger afterwards... Some ppl collect these and they have just made a comeback for some new Metal releases
@@GhostNBRider interesting thank you!!
Longbox CD’s and they were fucking sick. I miss them. Pointless, collector’s, novelty item; but made a release feel more ceremonious and special for sure.
56:51 LMAO

Looking at this now in my 40s I see a bunch of kids :) in the band. Awesome, they were soo old :) back then
