This game is win/win. Our rookies continue to shine, plus we arent losing ground in the up coming draft. Bryce may actually be the real deal. Perfect game for Carolina.

This game was so upsetting. Bryce is looking good but our Oline looked like the typical Panthers "line" if you can even call it that. I get the occasional misread but why is Bryce constantly scrambling out of the pocket with hands on him? The game played out how it did and you can blame Pinero or Hubbard and I'm not going to disagree. BUT WHY WAS BRYCE SCRAMBLING OUT OF THE POCKET SO MUCH??? We "upgraded" our Oline this year and it has definitely looked better so far but it was trash today. Bryce got touched and/or hit on most of his big plays and had to slide out of the pocket as soon as he got the ball on wayyy too many plays. It makes me scared he will regress into his old scared self again. And I can't blame him. Baker looked like shit with us and our shitty line. I saw him have plenty of time today when it mattered. And he looked like a dawg, and beat us after we had allegedly "won". You can blame the kicker, rb, qb, dbs, cbs, whoever you want. But after watching this oline get multiple qbs injured and careers ruined for the last ALMOST 15 YEARS. I've had it. Watch the chiefs games. Mahomes almost always has like 5 seconds in the pocket. And he KNOWS it. He knows that if he stands there long enough he will either get an open man or some reason for a flag to be thrown their way. They know it. That's why they know they need an Oline to offer that comfort. It's so embarrassingly obvious that it becomes embarrassing to be a fan of a franchise that is either too stupid to realize it or is aware and just doesn't care because they can have a Beyonce concert to make up the lost revenue.

i was pissed right when the game ended, but im better now. Bryce balled out. i think this game showed out biggest issues: receiver, D-line, DB. first, Our run defense will be fine when we get Derrick Brown back, maybe move on from shy tuttle and see if we can improve on that front with a 3rd/4th round pick but no big issues despite how bad we've been. Trevin Wallace seems like a pretty good ball player to me, so I think he can be our replacement to Shaq Thompson now that hes on the tail end of his career. I think Abdul Carter or Nic Scourton in the draft can be a good replacement for Brian Burns. Clowney is ok but he doesn't fit into our future. As for receiver, I think Legette is okay. He's struggled with drops all year, it's an issue a lot of rookies have and most get over. David Moore just isnt that great. He's been nice, a serviceable guy, but he's old and he had a couple big drops that could have extended drives (a lot more consequential than Legette's drops imo). Legette is a good option with nice speed (he runs a 4.3), so another possession receiver would be good for when Adam Theilian hangs up the cleats. im still scratching my head at the Diontae Johnson trade. maybe some locker room stuff behind the scenes? idk. now for DB. First off, i hope we dont overpay Jaycee Horn. He's good, but a lot of penalties and he seems to not be that great in the redzone (or man coverage in general) to me. Maybe $15-18 million a year. Second, Chau Smith-Wade played a nice ball game today but we can totally do better (shoulda kept Troy Hill, but its whatever). Xavier Woods is fine, he's been a good player for a few years now for us but he is getting up there in age. I have been exceptionally disappointed in Jordan Fuller. Undrafted rookie Demani Richardson outplayed him in every way when Fuller was injured, I'm not really sure why Fuller was still the starter after he came back from injury. but overall, We aren't directionless. We aren't the browns, cowboys, raiders, giants, jets, or jaguars. thats good. It's possible we compete for a playoff spot as soon as next season, and probably become a consistent playoff team by 2026-ish.

If it wasn’t for the 2 missed field goals and the Adam Thielen TD that he was robbed of it would have never went to OT and Carolina would have won but oh well on to the Eagles

i know im late but here's my thoughts on Bryce: I am aware of the fact that his play is part of the reason we are 3-8. when you look big picture, Bryce young is not that great of a QB. THAT SAID: I think BY9 has earned the right to start in 2025. clearly developing and has some nice connections with Jatavion Sanders and Xavier Legette. go get an Abdul Carter or a Nic Scourton in the draft to replace Brian Burns, get some of the defensive issues shored up and see if Bryce can put it together year 3. the O-line is good, receiver is still a need but fix the defense and let Bryce build on existing connections.

Bryce Young is putting together some decent progress but I'm going to pump the brakes a bit. I just watched the Chiefs barely beat the 2-9 Raiders and AOC put up 340 passing yards and 2 TDs against the Chiefs in KC. But absolutely celebrate the progress because a month ago this fanbase would've been satisfied with trading him for a day 3 pick.

He should have had multiple touchdowns against the chiefs and the Panthers should have won that game. Tremble dropped a TD catch when the ball bounced off of his hands, if that was Sanders it would have been good. For one example...

There’s a big chance the Panthers could win out for the rest of the season. All they need to do is play the way they played against KC and these last 6 teams don’t stand a chance.

I know it's fan and analyst tendency to make bold claims after 2 or 3 game stretches, we all do it, but it's a bit ridiculous. BY went from future Journeyman, to Bust, to now Star in 5 games lol. I have a feeling BY, as predicted by many after last year, will fall into mediocre game manager. Maybe enough to hold down the fort as they continue to rebuild next year but after a season and a half of NFL tape from him, I'd be surprised if he was the starting QB in 2026/27. Hope I'm wrong but more will be clear in a month.
