When I scroll down and click on the programming guide the screen goes to the guide but problem is the mini live screen covers up half the space and you can't read what's coming on next unless you scroll to the right. It only allows you to see one hour of programming at a time. Is there a way to customize that to where I can rearrange the mini viewing screen to the top right corner? It's is very annoying!!! Also is there a way to eliminate channels that I don't watch while I'm in the spectrum tv app? For example when I'm watching the programs I get all the nearby city local channels and pretty much all of what we had on direct t.v such as TBS, SIFI,TNT,TCM,AMC etc., but I'm having to deal with scrolling past the channels like Home shopping network or news channels or some sports channels even the audio music channels. Can I customize that list and eliminate what I will never watch?

Tip 1, avoid the auto train. The entire car was hot. They forget to call your car number. Shakes, rattles, and extremely bumpy.

What is the point of having a streaming service to watch live TV if you still need a spectrum account to pay for. To all id say look into veesee box or octastream boxes. Yea they are pricey but you don't need anything or pay for anything and you get litterally thousands of live channels from different apps for NOTHING

This video is out of date. The choices that it shows do not appear any more when you open up the stream box

Can you use other speakers via one of the aux ports and/or Bluetooth Or are you limited to just headphones and the built in speakers?

It still blows my mind that in 2024, Spectrum wont let you pause live TV. It's not a surprise that the service lost 200K subscribers this last quarter. While I'm glad they've moved in the direction of an AppleTV type device - it's unfortunate that they've moved backwards with customization and basic perks (like pausing live TV!)

Good video. I liked the idea of using this tool for off-grid purposes. I’ve managed on my channel to plug in the same ryobi 150w car inverter directly to a 100w or 40w portable panel with 19v output to charge Radios, power fans, and even charge ryobi batteries! Good video again 👍

I haven't ordered the Xumo yet and my reasoning would be due to the fact that the regular DVR box is not recording the extra minute of programs I have set to record. How is Xumo at including the entirety of programs or do you need to select to end 1 or more minutes later as well?

Love my Xumo Box and programming. I do have one issue, it involves the use of "favorites" on the guide setup. When I had my original setup, I could put in a favorites list, my channels and it stayed when I turned on the cable box. I have discovered that this does not happen with the XUMO guide, but my work around is to choose the favorites in the guide options. This brings my second point; when I have my favorites up, I still get a full list of channels on the guide and I have to scroll through until I get my favorites and stay within that range. If I try to delete a channel from the (extra channels) channel guide, it also deletes it from the favorites channel. Annoying! Can that be fixed either by me or do I have to wait until Spectrum Xumo updates and fixes that bug.

What control the gear settings on universal, also the three dots on sumo.

We are returning our 2 Xumo boxes. The DVR features are disappointing .... difficult to use ... no pause/fast forward or back-up.

I remember seeing decorative lamps as a teen back in the 70's that used the incandescent versions of these bulbs, always thought that they were awesome looking in certain ceiling fixtures and wall sconces along with the flicker flame bulbs😀😍

I enjoyed your review! I just got this blender today. I was hoping the "Ultra Quiet" statement would hold true, but man.. It's definitely not. I made the mistake of starting it up at night while my wife & kids were asleep. They sleep at 8:30 & I wanted an avocado banana milkshake. I turn it on & boy was I QUICK to turn it off! I still had some ice left so I had to give it another few seconds to blend the rest. Thankfully, it surprisingly blended everything in under 10 seconds. 1st pulse was 4-5 seconds & same with the 2nd pulse. I know this is a blender, but dang.. It's definitely not quiet like it states & definitely do not recommend using at night. Otherwise, very happy with the end result. Hope to see other reviews!

Here are XUMO's Biggest Problems: Xumo Feedback- Unless Familiar With Streaming Remotes and Devices- Keep/Ask for Traditional Box/DVR As an old school cable guy since 1985. I really hope that Spectrum continues with traditional boxes and standard DVR's for years to come. The streaming remote on my Samsung TV is a nightmare to use, which is one of the many reasons why we still love cable TV. Everything in one place, and navigation that has been a staple and easy to use for customers for decades. Sadly, if Spectrum ever totally dropped support for a traditional DVR, they would very likly be forced to lose a customer since 1985. Me. Here's why: 1.) I have medical issues and live with an elderly person also with medical issues. She can't work a steaming remote. And for me it is a challenge and I am literally a cable tech guy! I have never been able to warm up to streaming. If you go with a streaming vendor you have to sign up for 2-3 providers to give all the variety that cable TV gibes you. 2.) Caller ID on TV with Spectrum Voice and a traditional cable box is critical, and a must have. Xumo does not have Caller ID on TV. 3.) A customer told me today that when his Clickr Backlite remote gave out, (Great remote!) he went to a Spectrum Store to exchange it and said, "They aren't giving that remote anymore." He had an older DCX 3400 box and the office gave him an XUMO remote. It took days for him to try to figure out how to program that streaming remote online, for a legacy IR device. He was so frustrated because he can't FF/RW.Pause on the remote or even pause live TV. I said, get a truck roll by saying that you can't pause fast forward or rewind on your DVR and have the tech bring you a traditional DVR box and remote. He is considering doing this. He hates the XUMO. He might take his DCX 3400 box back to the store, and get a World Box. and a World Box Renote. 4.) There is no last channel recall button on the XUMO. A button that my family and millions of customers use all the time. You have to keep flip flopping between the guide and the app, and On Demand on an XUMO, instead of simply pushing one button. 5.) Customers are still having issues with an auto shutoff on the Xumo after 4 hours of activity. This feature can be easily disabled on a traditional set top box or DVR. 6) Xumo often locks up and the only way to solve that is by unplugging it. Reset functions often do not work. 7.) I encourage all customers who hate the Xumo to swap out their boxes for regular set tops or DVR's. Menu naviations are easier. remote is easier to use. the traditional boxes are more reliable. 8.) New customers must request a traditional cable box or DVR when ordering cable TV for the first time. Tell sales that you don't want the XUMO, unless you are really tech savvy and are familiar with streaming remotes and devices. Jack

Hello, Iwas wondering if you could build a video trying to pair a "flipper " brand remote to a xumo box. I own a nursing home and we are having a rough time using the remote. I was there was a simple remote for this senior population. The flipper brand remote works awesome with spectrum cable box but is not compatible with xumo box they say. Maybe u can Crack the code

HELP!!! I called Spectrum to cancel internet service because my bill was going up 30 dollars a month and retention offered to lower my bill by paying for internet and a xumo streamer, I told them I dont want t.v service and they said with internet and xumo Ill get Spectrums basic channels including all my live locals. Can anybody confirm that with just internet service I can get live locals with Spectrum and Xumo.
