One of TotK’s biggest problems was not using Ganondorf more. Having him be present only in cutscenes and the final boss was an *enormous* mistake. He should’ve been doing things in the present instead of just hiding until Link shows up.

Omfg i just realized something On the topic of zelda, rauru and ganondorf's sacrifices, each one of them represents a different piece of the triforce Rauru had the courage to sacrifice himself by placing the fate of Hyrule on someone he didn't even know Zelda had the wisdom to sacrifice herself in order to charge the master sword with light And ganondorf sacrifices himself to attain unmatched levels of power

I think calamity ganon was born from Ganondorfs blood while rauru had his stomach slit open

Its a far stretch for a side plot but I can picture kohga in all his dedication to ganondorf, gathering some of the dust from the explosion of his dragon form and trying to resurrect him somehow.

Small thing I never hear anyone mention , in Mario 64, I think it was a good decision to have no music wherever you were outside the castle doors . You can just hear the birds chirp and water running, let alone the sound of Mario's feet hitting the pavement as he runs. I really loved that , it made that section so more fresh and open

Ganondorf is so hyped up to be this crazy final boss, especially with the arena you fight in before fighting ganondorf, and he’s just kinda easy. My ass is not an equal to gannondorf I am a higher being. Or well im just kinda good at the game.

I kinda wished they made classic Sonic talk i have always hated him not talking why can classic Tails and Classic Eggman talk but not him anyway this game looks AWSOME i gotta pick it up simce i have never really played the OG gens also it's kinda ironic that Sonic gens was the best received Sonic game and it's remaster/Shadow gens beat it's also ironic that the currently best Sonic game is a Shadow game with a Sonic game packaged on the side. Love the vid crusty or crustbound idk

Pro Tip: When using Chaos Control, not only you're invincible, but it also refills the boost guage completely. So destroying enemies and Chaos Control item boxes is still very useful. Oh, and excellent review btw 👌🏾

I just couldn’t bring myself to play the Sonic part of the game. After Frontiers and Shadow Generations, I just don’t like the car controls anymore. I’ve been spoiled by better, more fluid controls.

One of the few games better than the mario version(aside from sonic 3 & knuckles and the sonic adventure trilogy, yes to me heroes is part of that)

The very fact that someone can make a statement like this without anyone batting an eye is a testament to just how good Shadow Gens turned out.

My only complaint with the rewrite is some of the voice actors sound washed at times.

When they innevitably do another remaster, if they want to rewrite the story to modernize it, they should put in the effort to change the cutscenes. Seriously, Ian is a great story teller, but I’d argue the limiations were just too much and Sonic Gens’ new story was arguably worse because of it.

Yeah for me it's not even close. This game stands far above every other sonic game since it's great all the way through and there's absolutely zero filler. It's all great. Shadows campaign added the perfect amount of content to make the whole thing the perfect package. Also the 2d in both campaigns is great. Definitely better then most people say it is

Sonic Generations and Shadow Generations are definitely some of the best Sonic games(imo)

The rewrite is decent and in shadow story’s I love the ending and the story of shadow gens too

I was always so confused how no one notices the seemingly obvious details hidden everywhere in ToTK. And a year later, I find a video that told me like 90 different things I didn’t know about it, AND get so many things correct that people usually misinterpret. Why must the algorithm do this to meeeeeee I had practically lost ALL faith in the fandom. +1 sub
