Hi I'm goob, I make videos about video games and movies I like.
The Darkness Review
Hey everyone, so this is a rerelease of my previous Darkness video. I always indented on going back and trying to tidy it up and since I wont be getting anything new out until my voice is better here is my chance.
I have tried my best to clear some of the audio but couldn't get very far with it bad mic be bad micing. I've also cut the video down a little .
Anyway hope you enjoy, here is the original description
Welcome! I hope you enjoy my Review of The Darkness played on the xbox one using backwards compatibility.
I missed out talking about music again. All the music used is from the game The Darkness, mostly ambiance just to add a little bit of depth to the audio.
Again any feedback is super appreciated as I'm just here to make entertaining content. Do you remember The Darkness? Was there anything I missed you wished I talked about?
You can still find me over on twitch twice a week if you want to come say hello! See you in two weeks for the next project!

Hi all. Thought I would throw together a little top 10 video. Both to share some games I really like and to try out the format. Cant see me pivoting to list videos any time soon though. Hope you enjoy. I will be back much sooner for my next video. I think doing a top 10 was a little boring as I couldn't go super deep, See you next time nerds . Max Payne | Super Casual Review

Hi everyone! I hope you enjoy this casual review for the First Max Payne game. A very challenging third person shooter that's ultimately great to play, I think I was a little harsh during the review at points when my experience was more on the positive side. I guess the negatives just stuck with me more when writing for the video. I've come to realise I haven't done any reviews for games I love...
Tekken 8 | Super Casual Review

Hi all! here is my little review for Tekken 8! I've only talked about old games on the channel so far so its really nice to talk about something new! So I've noticed the footage isn't as sharp as id like? I'm not sure why I assumed the ps5 captured in a higher quality than what's displayed but maybe my settings are wrong. Something to look into but since this is a short and sweet one not a huge...
Tenchu Z | Super Casual Review

Hi all! this review was a little more experimental and low effort. I kind of just wanted to get it out of the door. The audio is a little funky so more tweaking needed but overall happy with how it came out. What do you remember about Tenchu? This really does fit the bill of super casual, but im gonna spend some more time on the next one. Make it look really nice and sound great. Until next tim...

Hi again! welcome to my review of Armored core 1! The game I keep struggling to spell! I a charming game that I enjoyed greatly, something that is admittedly dated but also very endearing and rewarding. I wouldn't recommend it to everyone because it is obtuse and difficult. But I still loved it. VaatiVidya's AC series video ua-cam.com/video/jNgY-kTPY3Q/v-deo.html Armored Core is a PS1 game Rele...

Welcome to my first published movie review! For the newest and extremely impressive Godzilla Minus One. After the engineers die due to Shikishima failing to distract the monster, an overwhelming amount of guilt wei...
Tomb Raider Legend PS3 | Super Casual Review
Переглядів 4687 місяців тому
I cant believe I've got another one out so quickly. Tomb raider Legend 2006 is a great but forgettable time, a smarter man once called it a "Sunday game" and I think that applies perfectly. I hope you enjoy this casual review. A little updating on my thought process right now: I struggled a little more with this review as I found myself wanting to constantly re-record lines and add jokes after ...

I love that one of your anime coverups is IShowSpeed fighting a wizard gnome 😂
@@storageroomb746 I feel like it mirrors what's going on in the anime 😂 Honestly that's the only part that got copyright struck and blocked in the UK and some other countries.
@@goobula classic UA-cam sillyness.
u said his name right then said it wrong right after..
I actually appreciate the fact that they used actual clips from the show and not just still images like the recent Naruto games do. Plus using the anime ost is a nice touch. I wonder why other anime games don't do that.
Because the companies these days don’t give af anymore, the games these days have no passion unlike the all the older games
I’m neutral with Naruto: Rise of the Ninjas
This game was good but broken bond was even better
@@strawberrysherbet96 yeah Im really looking forward to playing broken bond
The human plus project is accessible if you go deeply into debt. You get your pilot name replaced by a serial number and other characters start calling you "it". Also, you get additional powers, like the ability to fire certain mounted guns while flying.
@@snakelady647 that's really Cool. I need to replay it just to try that out.
Still the best Naruto game
Broken bond better trust me
@@Hazzymane56 yeah I remember it being much better
Rush storytelling, clunky gameplay, but AMAZING exploration!!! IN MY OPINION! Decades later and this is still the BEST Naruto game to explore Konoha! Storm 1 doesn't even touch THIS good of exploration! It just sucks it's exclusive to the Xbox.
@@AubreyTheKing I 100% agree with you
3:47 In the manga, he did actually beat Hiruzen with sexy jutsu while snooping around the office. I guess that jutsu is too much for the professor.
@@good__person that's awesome it's addressed in the manga. I have been meaning to read it for a while.
In the anime Naruto beat Hiruzen with the sexy jutsu before he even put his headband on for the first time lol, I forget the manga
How do you get so many views! How do you promote your content?
@@chefbreezus honestly I have no idea why this video is doing so well. I don't really promote my content anywhere. I share it once on Twitter and with a few friends. But I think I just got lucky with this one.
It's crazy that the game had models for Kakashi, Sssuke and Sakura but they didn't fill out the game by allowing you to fight as them.
@@visoredgruntR34 so you can fight as them! In a very poorly out together VS mode. I didn't bother mentioning it in the video as it's very bare bones.
Naruto was able to pull so many pranks of the village. Not even the Abby could find him
I loved the HOMM2 music ❤️❤️❤️
So can you not play this on the series X?
You cannot. Only a 360.
It was good.
Not everyone is meant to walk the path of the Shinobi. Shizoku JaHachi Kage
Never realized they had an "open world" Naruto game. There is so many open world games I'd love from so many series (Pokemon, Naruto, One Piece, etc) I like the fighting but I also want to immerse myself in the world.
Pokemon is based on an open world video game lol, it came before the anime
great video keep up the review
@@1607Adi_Manz thank you!
I absolutely LOVED Rise of a Ninja and Broken Bond.
I'm really looking forward to replaying a broken bond. I did enjoy rise a lot! It's very charming.
here before this amazing channel blows up
You're too kind 😂
I wish I had a 360 I was always a gen behind (if not 2) and I wanted this game so bad when I was younger it's insane
It is really surprising to me that this is a ubisoft game. I had no idea. I definitely think the Storm series has pushed this game into serious obscurity.
There is one game I can think of that ends in a QTE. It is God Of War Ragnarok.
This and the sequel were ignored it's really weird. You'd think being the only open world Naruto game they would be remembered more foundly
I love the tank controls, played the remaster with them
Honestly they add so much to a game. The different control scheme is so much more engaging
Welcome to the TR community, Raider. Couple things: Peru not Nepal Tomb Raider I-III Remastered and Tomb Raider HD Collection are completely different releases. You’re playing the former not the latter. Your memory is serving you right, just piecing together moments from different games. Also, way to diss Greece, the most highly regarded level in the entire franchise 🤣😅 Fun fact, I like the game because of my memory of my mom playing it too! She still loves to watch me play today ❤️
im happy to be part of the community! TR really is a banger. Yeah watching the video back and hearing me say Peru is making me cringe a little but I have a good reason! I recently played TR Legend and started TR anniversary. My brain defaulted to saying Peru because of legend and I messed up the shotgun placement due to anniversary as you get the shotgun after beating Larson. Also why I called it the HD collection and not Remastered. I think I played too much TR in a short period and mixed everything up. I need to play Greece again, I really didn't vibe with it the first time around.
0:54 Tomb Raider Chronicles
I played them as a kid on original release, and recently played remaster. Ooof did NOT remember how crude the cut scenes looked!
The thing is, the original cutscenes weren't that bad before. Somehow the files were just downgraded. I remember when I bought the Steam version and they looked awful and I didn't know why. They were grainy (much more than in the 'classic' mode of the Remaster) and I had to look for someone that upscaled them to look better. But in the original playstation disc, the cutscenes are good (better than this 'remaster' version's), but apparently they don't translate well on 4k tvs and all that and quality was lost over time. This isn't nostalgia talking, because I kept my original PS1 and played this game for years after and when I saw these ported versions I was surprised by how bad they look.
Tomb Raider: Anniversary feels like the exact opposite with an enjoyable Greece and a tedious Egypt.
I started anniversary! Haven't played much yet but looking forward to seeing the differences.
Your mum has excellent taste and her opinion is spot on 👏
@2:12 The caves in Peru, not Nepal.
my mistake, unsure why I said Nepal 😂
This game was my childhood, I could never pass the boss in the first Amazon area however fast forward to adulthood I re-purchased the game and finally finished it and I was not disappointed 💜
It's really difficult! I never beat the forest stage as a kid either. Was great to revisit and play properly
6:50 you find the shotgun first in the T rex level. There are also an achievement for it.
Ahhh I missed that! I actually skipped most of Peru in this playthrough as I started playing it on the PC just before the game was announced. Didn't want to play the same section again
Did the skateboarding 90s kid influence Fat Man in MGS2?
Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if kojoma was inspired by tomb raider it's huge
I only played MGS2 Master Collection a few weeks before TR1 Remaster and thought the same. Seemed to be an appealing concept back then.
The spin jump wasn't originally in TR1 so it's not needed anywhere, it was added in TR2. The remasters added the spin jump to TR1, it's most useful in combat for keeping enemies in front of Lara while bouncing around.
I never knew that! Thank you
It also makes a jump a lot more consistent in Egypt where you slide and jump towards a bridge, right before one of the rooms with a centaur + ankh. You can slide backwards, grab the ledge and immediately jump + spin + grab 9:45 Oh here it is
From my interpretation of the dragon coming out of a portal image, it looks like its the 3 gargoyle heads from Tomb Raider Chronicles
I threw it together in 30 seconds from a childs memory 😭😂😂 let's see how close we are when I get to chronicles
Good, honest review. G'luck to your channel!
Thank you! Still practicing but getting better with every video 😂
Looklike sex doll?
Yeah she built like a one 😂
Loved the Video! Final Fantasy X is my favorite Video Game of all time :)
Thank you so much! And I get it about ffx. It's really something special
My favorite game of all time is Disco Elysium. It for sure is not for everyone given its heavy tones, but it is a genuinely beautiful and well written game. I became a Hobo-Marxist cop during my first playthrough.
Storage’s Top 10 Games 10. Fallout New Vegas 9. Borderlands 2 8. Yakuza 0 7. Twilight Princess 6. Fire Emblem Three Houses 5. Death Stranding 4. MGSV: The Phantom Pain 3. Pokemon Emerald 2. VTM: Blood Lines 1. Disco Elysium Honorable Mentions: Pizza Tower, What Remains Of Edith Finch, Sly 3 Honor Among Thieves. I place a lot of emphasis on a games writing which is why my list looks like this. Recently I have been replaying a lot of 6th gen games though and I am finding an old love for them.
Thank god you didn't suffer with the awful console port lol
For real. I wasn't aware it was available on pc until I started. I wouldn't have beat the PS2 port.
I always appreciate the fun facts you put into your videos. Giving us blips about the history of a game/franchise really makes these videos entertaining
Thank you, Im currently making a tenchu like game with modern hitman influence in UE5 and this way very insightful to see what you liked and didn't about Z and how I should build my game. I'm glad you didn't like the character creator either and it makes it easier for me to just build a story around the one character :) . Would you be willing to talk on discord further about your thoughts on the game ever ?
Lol, neat. Not the only one making one. Personally love the customization though, story was never a draw to me. I always just enjoyed the ability to live out the ninja fantasy in a small open world map sandbox. Cutscenes/story was always just icing on the cake to set the stage and that is all. Customization allowed me to get more attached to a character of my own design preferences and playstyle if the game supports gameplay customization also. I think that tenchu has some of my favorite preset characters though, so it does conflict me. Maybe custom characters with an option of a preset for a character that is normally used for advertisement/representing the game and people not interested in designing their own would be ideal? My inspirations are Tenchu and Naruto. Taking very specific things from each of them, but keeping a dark gritty feel to a degree that tenchu has would be ideal. I am kinda debating making my own fantasy setting that heavily borrows from japan and ninja/samurai culuture and designs instead so it is unique and fresh without a chance of making mistakes about stuff looking accurate to older japanese cultural settings. May allow more unique map design setups too. Not sure yet. Overall aesthetic would still be VERY similar to this though.
Do not abandon the character customisation, that is a massive draw that current Tenchu-likes all lack, if you abandon that, you're kinda just making way to be called a poor man's ghost of tsushima
@@AlbinoMothDragon Hehe. Idk about for him, but customization, player builds, and overall player agency is one of my favorite things. One of the reasons I like tenchu Z more than most the others in the franchise. Actually have a good chunk of the gameplay working, but I am having to hold off on the project until i can make a certain purchase or an alternative is found. No worries about dropping it though, it will eventually become a thing, One of my dream games I absolutely must make in my lifetime.
sf6 where?
sf6 who? eyebrow raised xD@@goobula
As someone who hasnt played a fighting since Street fighter 4, i Got Tekken 8 after watching evo matches on youtube, and heard the new one was coming out late January, it wasnt on gamepass so decided to risk it and buy it day one. I play with friends and fam on offline VS mode mainly with occasional online rank with just me, and Dude its so fun 😂 a great party game to play when we get together and hangout. All of us just using the few moves we know, button mashing, and reacting to combos we accidentally pull off is great! Im having a blast playing so far! Also found another good channel, loving the vids man. Just Subbed 🎉
Its the best tekken game cuz tekken always improves. Unlike MK.
I gotta agree there, MK has always felt to same to me
@@goobula exactly, like sure maybe the MK formula worked well for a couple of installments but after all these years, got super stale imo.
This game was so complete, it was the first game in 10 years that I bought at full price.
Thank you for the review! My last tekken was 3 when i was but a little kid and jumping back into this one just feels incredible. The nostalgia mixed with just how legit great this game is is an incredible feeling. I'm very bad at the moment, but I'll try my best for sure haha Also, somw great advice about not looking at the guides and picking someone who's looking cool to you. I've seen a lot of the same sentiment online and it's nice that people heavily advice against meta and all that. Love Hwoarang personally, but he's a bit too difficult for mw atm, so I'm going for some other cool peeps like Paul and Victor 😄
Thank you for watching and I'm really happy you've jumped back in! Probably the best time too considering how good the game is! Victor is great fun! I can't use Hworang either 😭 he doesn't make sense to me. I'm glad you're having a good time with the game though it doesn't matter if you're good or bad as long as you're enjoying it
@@goobula I love the game, just jumped out of almost a 10h long ranked session with Paul 😂 Have to say, the community is surprisingly great! Sure, some bad apples here and there, but most people are respectful, no tbagging, emote spamming or anything. Even made 1 new acquaintance after a very intense sesh, agreed to spar sometime in the future!
