You do a great job. 😊❤
Fab video again and the ring pull bag is wonderful. How creative.😀🤗
Just found your videos and I'm really enjoying them. So informative and just the right pace to take it all in. You also have a very pleasant voice. 😊 Thank you for taking the time to film and post them. 🤗
@@MomoJoy-t5n thank you. Not a pro and just started doing them so my wife could see places she couldn’t access.
Also me and my brother used to explore parham house as a child and loved the doll house.
@@kimberleylingsvlogs not many children that wouldn’t have welcomed the chance to explore Parham. 😊
@cliffordcoxoutandabout.409 I agree most children now are into technology but when me and my brother were younger we loved exploring places outside and parham house gardens was our favourite
I used to work at parham house as a waitress in the cafe. Parham house is beautiful
That garden is just wow amazing!! 😮😊 i love the bird sounds too and so peaceful 😊
Hi clifford its kimberley you deserve a lot of views on your videos. I enjoy watching them 😊
@@kimberleylingsvlogs thank you. I originally started doing video clips for my wife whose mobility stops her seeing everything. The she wanted to watch on UA-cam via tv and a few people started to watch which is why I now try and give a little information.
@cliffordcoxoutandabout.409 that's lovely. I know how your wife feels with mobility. I have hypermobility just recently got diagnosed and I'm housebound and isolated. My joints are in pain and I can't walk far. I miss exploring 😢 😪 so I actually agree watching videos like this is brilliant I feel like I'm exploring there even though I'm not there
@@kimberleylingsvlogs I wish you well.
@@cliffordcoxoutandabout.409 thank you. 😊 keep up with the great videos you are doing.
@@kimberleylingsvlogs another just coming lol. Loads of short videos on Instagram. Same handle ie cliffordcoxoutandabout.409
Stayed in this hotel in 2022 and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Long queues at the piano bar, shocking service in the main restaurant. The only redeeming feature was Mikes Coffee.
Sad to see these hotels going downhill. Last time we were there we had decent waiter service in the piano bar. Cut back on staff perhaps!

Nice video Clifford, thank you for sharing it.
@@andydabell8659 thanks.
glad you enjoyed your time at the Zoo. but I would recommend going to all the talks, as they encourage the animals out with food. the snake talk is my favourite, as they bring a small Boa and a Corn Snake out that you can hold/touch.
Thanks for the tips!
Dianne ain’t happy
@@GraemeJones1979 I can’t remember so perhaps best I don’t then. 😂 Diane seems happy now though.
So so wrong, Brewhurst and the village has two bridges with one being for the canal and second being the feader stream that runs alongside the canal from before you started this vlog and runs back along the canal towards Dunsfold, if you had carried on along the canal one of the feeder points from this is about 200 / 250 yards down canal from the bridges. The River Arun is about 1 1/2 miles more and after 2 more locks and a viaduct, the first of these being - Baldins Knob Lock and the first restored lock by the trust. The last lock is Drungewick Lock and the Arun is just across the private farm field alongside the path and being only about some 150 ft away but you can't see it. You would have been better of walking the other way, as restoration work is being carried out at this time at - Gennets bridge lock and this being about the same or maybe just a little more than the distance you traveled anyway. B/A
@@britainAfoot thank you for the information. I don’t know too much about this area. Obviously knew the Arun and the Wey were there. My wife can’t walk too far or scrabble about if the ground is rough. Must walk longer either on my own or with my mate that I hike with occasionally. Always happy to stand corrected. Thanks.

@@geniedehavilland2207 from the Rubicón Palace to the Marina is a long walk. Probably a couple of hours, maybe a little longer.
A long walk. Trust me we walked it.
What a lovely garden, and the house looks amazing, thanks for the information and sharing.
We definitely thought it worth the visit.
Looks more of a marathon than a dance. 😂
Apparently it starts at 7am and it goes on all day. A marathon probably quite a good description.

Interesting video with plenty of information and some wonderful views thanks for sharing it with us.
I’m glad you liked it. To be honest I only started doing video clips of places that my wife couldn’t access. Then she started watching them on the tv UA-cam and didn’t want to use email so I had to make them public. As other people started to watch as well I thought I had better say something 😂.
Gorgeous!! I'm so grateful these magnificent homes are being preserved for history.....
Us too!
Not bad for descendants of 1st Duke of Richmond, an illegitimate son of King Charles II.
Absolutely. After the Norman invasion William rewarded his best fighters and Generals with land and houses etc and over the years laws were implemented by Kings to ensure they kept hold of their gains.
Great video I have been here twice now and going again in June for a third time. Fantastic video it really shows the scale of the place.
Glad you enjoyed it! Just try to show it from a visitors perspective
Great video Clifford x
Brilliant video thank you for sharing looks a huge hotel. And me and wife love lanzarote so it's good to see our next holiday in lanzarote is this one.
What a beautiful hotel 😍 thank you for uploading.

Was it warm where you was x x ...
Hi, yes it was warm. We tend to go for some winter sun in January. Tends to be nice and sunny/warm from about 10am to 4pm. Can be a bit breezy.
Hello mate, are the al a carte included in half board if you know? Cheers
We were on all inclusive so unfortunately can’t comment on that one. My guess would be yes as on half board you are still getting your main meal in the evening as you would on all inclusive. You could email them at Reservas Lanzarote H10 Rubicón Palace.
A highwayman's body hung there in chains A SMALL wooden board hidden deep in a wood on the Downs is the only memorial to the last highwayman in West Sussex who was hung in chains. Many holidaymakers hear of the spely end, may site find the spot The board is on the exact spot where the body once hung. Then 1716 it was open country. It was 1771 and a fine Sunday morning when all the people from Burpham, near Arundel, walked up on to the Downs to see the body. Upperton's memorial-a wooden board with the initials J.U. and carvings of two small gallows. For them, and their children, this was their Sunday outing for they all knew the highwayman, Jack Upperton, who had lived in their village. Middle-aged Jack Upperton was a farmworker, who although quite pleasant had never been very popman in the those who But watched "any of those body swaying in chains thought he might have been innocent. However, no one would ever know about his guilt for no one was there to see what happened that dark winter's evening as William Boldry, of Arundel, rode. on horseback along the path ... just about where the board now stands. He was carrying the mail from Arundel and it was raining hard. As he went through a gate two men pounced on him and tried to steal the letters. He struggled free, but before he got away he recognised one as Jack Upperton. Upperton was quickly caught. The other man remained free. First in Lewes jail and then at East Grinstead court Jack Upperton protested his innocence. He said that the other man did all the attacking. The Judge, Baron Perrett, found him guilty of attempted robbery on the highway and ruled that Upperton should be hanged on the gallows in Horsham and then hung in chains at the scene of his crime. For several years his bones hung there... and now farm-workers claim that on a windy winter's night the bones of the last highwayman can still be heard rattling.

Good❤
Hello Tim, it was good to meet you in Lanzarote. I appreciate that it’s probably the Lanzarote videos that interest you. Thing is I have reorganised my channel and separated the types of video. Anything off of mainland including the Isle of White lol are on one playlist which I added as Memories abroad/off mainland. Videos with resorts around this country and country houses etc are on anther added as Resorts and places of interest with Cliff. I also have local walks and hikes, some with a bit of history and these are added as Holiday walks and hikes with Peter. Thing is that I am a novice lol and I can’t be sure that other people can see them if they want. I wondered if you would do me a favour and have a look and let me know if you could access those play lists? Thank you in advance and cheers Clifford.
The late Lawrence Graburn of Burpham standing by the Gibbet Post - 1951 Lawrence took it upon himself to research the original location and install the marker post.
Nice to meet you Clifford, enjoy your videos. Hope you have a good holiday.
Good to meet you too. I don’t get away so often since Covid so most of my videos are now out walking at home or holidays in Cornwall or Suffolk. Incidentally I have discovered that Suffolk has lots to offer.
Some information. To get everything in I thought would make the video far too long, hence my comment. The small nature Island next to Fuerteventura that I mentioned and couldn’t remember the name is called Lobos. There are 4 ala carte restaurants that can be used as I said. There is also a theatre that you can book for a meal and show. There are large computer screens dotted about in the main areas that you can use to book the ala carte and check out the various daytime activities if that’s what suits you. Plenty going on for those that like to be active. There are the small secluded quiet pool areas. Personally, I like to walk and there is a very nice paved walkway that goes for miles along the coast. Nice to walk to the lighthouse or the opposite direction to the marina. You can walk beyond the marina to Papagaya. Incidentally, I mentioned poking my head in a room used for conferences etc and mentioned that they played Whist! It was another senior moment lol, I actually meant it was used for competition Bridge.
Th🦄e big Chearch I loove it
😊
It's kitsch and full of junk, nothing authentic about it.
Not everyone’s cup of tea. The service and food was very nice and the ladies thought it pretty. Don’t think they cared about it being authentic.
I used the swimming pool this morning. It was very pleasant. Had it to myself and followed it with a sauna.
