What great innings from Gawaskar??? In five minutes three appeals were against him and he was clearly out but given not out by Indian umpires.... Well played Umpires..

I watch this historical match again and again which reminds me the outstanding pieces of bowlings of Iqbal Qasim and Tausif Ahmed and extra ordinary fielding of Salim Malik. Golden era of our cricket history.

Bringing back memories of my childhood, Imran at his best. We were routed and except Mohinder Amarnath (and to some extent Gavaskar and Kapil), everyone were at a loss against this devastating attack. I hate this test match. India had the upper hand, but Pakistan won. In the second innings, eight Pakistani batsman were dismissed with the score on 198 for 8, a lead of only 169 runs, but Yousuf and Tauseef had a 49 or 51 runs partnership. That changed the match.....

Before this particular series most Pakistani boys wanted to be Batsmen. After this series alot of them wanted to be Fast Bowlers. Imran Khan absolutely blew away the Star Studded Indian Batting Line Up. Indian Batting had very capable Batsmen like Gavaskar, Vengsarkar, Vishwanath Sandip Patel, Mohindar Amarnath plus Kapil Dev and Madhan Lal.
