Went on a solo hunt, can’t rely on anyone to go out nowadays. So go out and get it done alone… I’m a First Nations people. So I can harvest what I need. Keep the negative comments to yourself as it will get you nowhere lol. Doesn’t bother me one bit. Enjoy !

We took some youth and paddled 130kms. To bring that connection into there life that the land has to offer.. we paddled for 30 hours. And we plan on making this a yearly event. These are the paths our ancestors once travelled, paths these once used to harvest food, paths where they once lived many many years ago ! Enjoy the video.

Checking sturgeon nets with my kids. Northern mb (2022)
Congratulations to the young man.
I know this is an old video but I like the Donahue trap & bait holder system. You stated you have about 100 more to make. Do you have plans that can be shared to me
I now run 300 sets a trapping season… what kind of plans did you have?
@@lawrencesaunders8889 I don't have any . I am trapping squirrels with open 110s. I was hoping to get dimensions and a drawing on the Donahue trap wood set piece and the cone hood to use. I am a small fry just starting out...
@@MichaelFarmer-e3cI just cut up 2x6 boards… and with the scrap pieces I make the trap frame.
@@lawrencesaunders8889 Thanks I have done that it is cone I need some help on...Thanks again for the conversation.
Awesome
Get yourself a tripod, you’re making me dizzy
Nice video! Do you boil your 280s or just leave them and set?
I just set em.. I’ve caught Wolverine without boiling them.. also snared wolves without boiling as well. Over rated lol. I’ve love challenging everyone’s opinions
@lawrencesaunders8889 Cool, I always wondered about that, boiling of traps? Over time, it will rub off from snow and rain and morning dew in August. I see you use beaver castor for martens. At least your bait doesn't disappear, like mine do with fish. Skin and bone, lol. Now I use beaver for bait. I have to try beaver castor this fall coming.
Awesome stuff. I’m looking forward to trapping season and getting some new videos out😁
@deadpinecollective same here, looking for it too. Can't wait! And @lawrencesaunders8889 too
Usually if you’re going through bait that quick. Put big chunks of fish. Like the size of a fist. It’ll take the mice abit time to eat that much. And if a marten comes by he has live bait, plus the fish.
Great video!.. Will you be using the Caribou hides for anything?
I tried tanning but don’t know the complete process so I wasted a few hides lol. Should’ve froze em. But they went pure stink.
Great job my friend!!
Finally a new video! Thanks, it’s awesome to watch
I’ll be making full videos of this trapping season. Buying all the gear, and gadgets. Gonna be a good one !
Seen a sasquwatch at 3:11 LOL!
Looked like a great trip bud !
Awesome videos! What do you use for marten lure?
Marten magic
Great work. Love the color bro.
Yah was definitely my busiest season yet
Is this the rail line to Churchill? Beautiful country! Thanks for the video.
Somewhere out there lol. 👌🏽
You are truly living life, brother. Good for you.
Respect ❤❤❤
Ive often thought i smelled this in some commercial lures.
Enjoyed the video and your hunt! Barry
CONNARDS !!!

thanks for the great video - great to see kids enjoying hunt - seemed like a very happy group - well done!
Good luck in Churchill
Thanks. Will post another hunting video from there as well
Wow...I got'ta wait t'ill next September before I can harvest some birds, thanks for the video!!!
Hahahaha love the shooting POV, safe hunting buddy!
Where u from buddy? Our goose season too is about to start. Kawawachikamach, Quebec. Right along the Labrador border.
Gillam Manitoba.
Thanks for the video...keep it up.
When next video!
Sorry man. Just got crazy busy with skinning never had time to make more videos… we got 7 wolves this season
@@lawrencesaunders8889 nice, congrats on the wolves!
do you use it on a castor mound or waht?
Great set. Lucky !
Good looking cat. Your blessed .
It's such a beautiful animal.
I tried this recently and it seemed to repel the beaver instead of attract them here in Arkansas. Going to try carman's beaver lure no.1 after the holidays.
Great catch!
Your a fucking monster
Isn’t that a cruel af way to kill the wolf
It’s all part of the game. All legal snares.. had a 100lb dispatch spring on it as well.
Losers must be proud
Snarling?
Great job, I miss those days of trapping.
Looking good! Thanks for sharing my friend!
Great work 👍 Wolves have been doing a number on our whitetail population in southern mb where i hunt. I can imagine what theyre doing to your moose population.
Awesome location. We just got 3 wolves this week. I posted some vids. I trap with kids 😁
Is that all you use is beaver castor and oil sacks?
Stuff we use is cheaper then buying medicine lol
😢 what the hell is all that
Couple thousand $. Christmas money for my family
Nice dispatch. Right behind the front shoulders. Sure makes it easier when you go to get him off the board his head doesn’t stick to it that way.😜😜🍺🍺
Looking goood. Nice wolves and Martin you got there
how many sets do you put out for marten?
About 250
I run 70kms. On Sunday I finally got my whole line set up. So we should start producing more. I was only running about 40ish traps since Nov 1.
@@lawrencesaunders8889 wow thats a lot to check
Days work, that’s for sure.
Great looking sets
Great to see kids out with you. I take elementary and high school kids out everyday to my trapline as part of a school program and also part of a Takla Nation program. I’ve been documenting our journey on UA-cam. I’ve watched your vids and shorts and you’ve gained another sub 😁
That is awesome
Beautiful hide! Nice work
Looks great.
