Stride Mobile Physiotherapy was born from a merger between DeAnna & Marley of Stride and Jason of Access Mobile Physiotherapy. These therapists recognized a need for convenient, mobile physiotherapy services in Kelowna. They saw a population who preferred convenient one-on-one therapy in their homes. With their different specialities, they formed a great team of diverse therapists! Over the years, they have only continued to grow and serve even more amazing clients.

We will do our usual strengthening exercises and add a few balance challenges today! Have your chair to sit in, something sturdy to hold onto, and weights or exercise bands for that extra level.

I think it’s better to use the wrist crease method, as there is no guarantee that the length of arm necessarily correlates with the height of greater trochanter.

I am crying tears of joy right now!! After 13 years as a stroke survivor with use of only one hand/arm, I am finally able to tie my shoes with no assistance. What a feeling of independence I am experiencing! I am a research assistant at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in Chicago and I work with stroke and spinal cord injury patients. I am always looking for innovative ways to help patients with OT challenges. No doubt, I will pass this technique along to our OT therapists.
