@codeconsoles Victory 3 Tutorial: Changing Playback and Physical Key Backlighting
Here's a quick tutorial on @codeconsoles Victory 3 Light Console.
This tutorial goes over how to easily changing the backlight colors on the playback faders and physical keys. You can also adjust the brightness of the keys but not the playback faders currently.
In order to access the menu for playback and physical key colors, you need to hit the SETUP button.
Once the SETUP button has been pressed you can find the KEY BACKLIGHT and PLAYBACK FADER BACKLIGHT under CONSOLE OPTIONS.
Once selected you can adjust the Unused, Used and Active colors of the Playback Faders. You can also select the key default color and highlighted color.

    What’s this for?

    • @TheatricallyJerry
      @TheatricallyJerry 29 днів тому

      So the Artnet node has eight dmx-512 3-pin connectors on the back and I want to access them from the front so I created a pass or feed through. The Artnet node converts a single Artnet 4 signal and properly addresses each of the eight universes contained in each of the dmx ports on the back. When you mount a node to a flight case the ports are on the back and are hard to access so it's better to access them from the front.

  • @Hunterbonnar

      @@TheatricallyJerry I see that, I’m exited!! I the twist dial was a very quick way to get around the menus however I would take a real ArtNet node functionality any day. The old model I had just did not hold dmx packets unless something was being sent constantly and it was really not good. I was about to buy a different brand of ArtNet node until I saw they updated the design. I wasn’t going to purchase unless I knew it was a legit node which is how I found your vid :). I’ll make a video on it as well.

    I mean it makes sense that it shows each battery charge cause not all batteries are same and its good to know which one is good and which one isnt! I think its amazing! I dont know why I went with the Lensgo hand held smoker... I mean I looked on Amazon and that one popped up first and I had already ordered it but than later on I saw this one and it reminds me of the Genie that costs 700 dollars and to be honest I like this ulanzi one much better. Its more sophisticated and I even think its built nicer! It def looks nicer and its only a 100 which is just as much as I paid for the lensgo cause the lensgo was on sale. Normaly its 128 but I actually paid 90 for it so im gonna return it and get this one instead. I really really like this one! The lensgo's tank is also leaking and I dont like that at all. Im assuming this tank is solid and isnt leaking im hoping but it just looks nicer and better built! Maybe you can tell me if you had issues with the tank leaking before I order one! Thanks!

      It kind of makes sense and kind of doesn't. I mean I could have lived with just one battery percentage that averaged both batteries or a flashing symbol to tell you a battery is bad. They could have used that Real Estate for other information like the voltage going to the atomizer or incorporating a sensor to tell you how much fluid is left in the tank. But I get what you are saying.

    • @TheatricallyJerry
      @TheatricallyJerry 3 місяці тому

      To record a macro show you need to have the timecode window open. It's available when you select a empty workspace window. Once open there's a button on the lower left of the timecode window that says New. Once selected a option will show up displaying the show number and mode of the show. You can select it and choose from three timecode options: Internal Clock -MIDI MTC or Internal Music. After you select the timecode mode, hit apply. Then you press the record button and start using faders and your presets, whatever you press on the console is recorded automatically in the Macro show. Once finished hit release or clear and the record button again. The show can now be played back by pressing the play button. I can also make a video tutorial if that interests you as recording Macro Shows is more of a intermediate tutorial.

Even american light companies get their components from overseas they are just assembled here... You select the fixture so it's highlighted and then hit edit label on the menu bar and then picture. You have to have your own picture of it on a thumb drive. Select the picture and hit import on the selected picture and then enter.

    Hello, We need part 4, where would you open the lids of this device and show everyone how poorly this example of Chinese engineering is made) What LED chip is installed, what power source does it have, all masters already know that Chinese manufacturers economically install LEDs of lower power in order to earn more they increase its power due to a more powerful power supply unit, and such a head only works for a couple of years...

      It has a OSRAM and also 99% of fixtures are made overseas the US isn't big on manufacturing if you haven't noticed. I believe maybe ETC makes some things here but not sure on fixtures. Even then most of the parts are purchased overseas and assembled in the US. I'm not sure where the stereotype of Chinese products being bad came from. There are of course bad Chinese products but there are also bad American made products its the luck of the draw. I'm also not too concerned on quality for a fixture in this price range. If it does what it's supposed to do and does it well, I have no problem with it. Thanks for viewing my channel😊

      Mostly by the included user guide and hours of figuring out how o wanted it to do what I needed it to do. It's a rather user friendly system but can get more advanced with it's effects generator, cues, cue lists, MIDI, wireless control and timecode/music player built in.

    Unfortunately all these issues points to the conclusion that this machine is full of Safety hazards, that's why is unavailable in many countries because they didn't pass the quality certifications / regulatory standards. The plastic tip begins to melt under 4-5 minutes on continous run. Not having it Equity Approved makes this a Deal breaker for all stages. Worst of all, they just permanently stopped selling their own liquid, it's removed as a product and not out of stock, that's quite ridiculous.

      Absolute BS. You must be from the competition. None of the issues you have named are valid. As well, Ulanzi has posted the exact formula/ratio on how to make their fog fluid. You must be from the SmokeNINJA camp of jealous sales reps...lololol.

    • @TheatricallyJerry
      @TheatricallyJerry 4 місяці тому

      When calibrating the Touchscreen, the console will shut down and restart after calibrating. If you still cannot access the screen, try turning the console off with the off switch, waiting a minute and turning back on. If that doesn't work M, it sounds like a problem with the console itself. You can contact CODE at main@codelight.com.cn to report this and they will release a update to fix the problem.

    do you need to empty the atomizer between uses? Also is there a best way to clean the atomizer?

    • @TheatricallyJerry
      @TheatricallyJerry 4 місяці тому

      The atomizer can't be cleaned, it is meant to be thrown away after it's life (like a vap pen) I'd personally just leave the liquid in it as the wick is already wet and you don't want to dry it out after it's already wet.

    • @TheatricallyJerry
      @TheatricallyJerry 4 місяці тому

      There's 512 addresses in one universe so you would divide how many addresses each fixture has by 512 and that's the max you can have. So if each fixture has 16 addresses you can have 32 fixtures per universe (theoretically).

    Thank you for the video - I've ordered the unit, was wondering how long (roughly) before I need a replacement Atomizing chamber? i.e. Are we talking every 20 refills etc?

    • @TheatricallyJerry
      @TheatricallyJerry 5 місяців тому

      The problem with atomizing chambers just like fog machines is the more they sit the more likely the atomizer(in this case fog machines don't have atomizers) are treated just like vape pens. The atomizer will go bad after sitting. It's fine if it doesn't have fog solution in it but as soon as you fill it the time starts. L

      It has a slight odor to it but not a burning, fire odor, it smells more like regular fog machine odor to me. It does leave behind a slippery residue when using the low lying fog diffuser.
