Welcome to my channel! I share weekend bike rides on my Specialized Epic 8 and CREO SL, exploring the Bay Area’s beautiful trails, parks, and redwoods.
This channel helps me track memories and stay motivated to work out while enjoying stunning scenery. I use a GoPro Hero 13 Black to capture my rides-keeping it simple without GPS overlays (editing takes time!).
For now, my rides are local, but one day, I hope to explore trails worldwide. Thanks for watching, and I hope my adventures inspire you to get out and ride!

Epic Bay Area Gravel Ride | Menlo Park to Burlingame & Back | SRAM XPLR Upgrade Test
Join me on an amazing 38.7-mile loop from Menlo Park through the Bay Trail, up the scenic hills of the Peninsula, and back! This ride was extra special as it was my first time testing the SRAM XPLR upgrade on my Specialized Creo SL Expert. The difference was night and day-better control, confidence on descents, and a smoother ride overall.
The Bay Trail section was stunning with a bright blue sky but super windy, making it a real challenge. Surprisingly, debris from the recent storm got stuck in my derailleur, preventing me from shifting to my hardest gear! Thankfully, a quick stop at Cognition Cyclery (shoutout to Alex!) had me back on the road in no time.
Heading through Burlingame, Broadway’s traffic was a mess, but I discovered a pedestrian-only rail crossing-first time using it! The city’s unique bike path design, with cars parked in the middle to protect cyclists, was also interesting to navigate.
Climbing up was rewarding, with stunning views of Hoover Elementary School and beautiful homes along the way. The descent was a blast-fast, smooth, and exhilarating! The final stretch along the lake trail was breathtaking and made for the perfect way to close out the ride.
🚴 Ride Stats:
• 📍 Route: Menlo Park → Bay Trail → Burlingame → Hillsborough → Crystal Springs → Redwood City → Back
• ⏱️ Time: 2 hours 23 minutes
• 📏 Distance: 38.7 miles
• ⛰️ Elevation Gain: 1,350 ft
• 🚀 Avg Speed: 16.3 mph
Would I recommend this ride? Absolutely! If you’re in the Bay Area and looking for a great mix of flat trails, rolling hills, and a solid workout, this is a fantastic route. Just be mindful of post-storm debris on the roads and the Broadway intersection traffic!

Join me on a short but energizing mountain bike ride through the scenic Arastradero Preserve! I arrived just after 10 AM to find the main parking lot full, so I started my ride from the Ladera entrance instead. This loop is perfect for beginners and casual riders, offering gentle climbs, smooth descents, and stunning views of Arastradero Lake. For riders like me on an Epic 8 who prefer a solid ...
Urban to Redwood Escape : A 3.5 minute Adventure by Creo SL

Join me as I ride from San Jose Diridon to Lexington Reservoir along the Los Gatos Creek Trail-an unexpectedly diverse route! The start of the trail passes through some industrial areas and homeless encampments, which can be a bit smelly and might feel off-putting, but bike lanes are generally available and I felt safe keeping a watchful eye on traffic. As I continued through Campbell toward Lo...
Steven Creek Bridge - Sleeper Park Loop from Lawrence

I recently explored a fascinating trail that connects Foothill Expressway to Page Mill Road. It was great to finally try the San Francisco Bay Trail, which links Palo Alto and Mountain View. The Steven Creek Trail was also quite interesting. Here is the detailed Map on Komoot www.komoot.com/tour/2013842066?share_token=aI5LAMzkml2OQ3Iqh5txBRUPncNzT5eiKz8gQp1tJosrsqTCt9&ref=wtd

Following my initial Retul Bike fitting, the riding experience became significantly smoother and more enjoyable. I acquired a Reckon 3 equipped with a pair of blue insoles. Additionally, I installed a spacer for my Shimano SPD pedal and made numerous adjustments to the height. The Foster City Levee has transformed into a vastly improved destination compared to my previous experience during my n...

Aliso Marina County Park Gravel ride
Переглядів 343 місяці тому
I’ve got a GoPro Hero 13 footage from a ride I took in November from Lawrence station area to Aliso Marina county park. The resolution is a bit low because I edited the footage from the livestream mode (no 4K). It’s my first edit, so I hope you enjoy watching it!
Great video. Keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!❤
