ngl you should do the weakest state of all heroes in ow2, that'd be pretty interesting! And ima give you a spoiler, since i main him, ram's was during s9. His vortex dmg was insignificant, only 45 compared to the 70 total dmg buff he got in s10. Nemesis form was just a bocking simulator more than ever, taking 5 punches for killing a regular dps was just embarassing. Annihilation doing only 30dmg per sec, thing that you dont even notice thanks to all the hp increases, from how low it is, nowdays too since it didnt got buffed. (B- ult since u only use it for refreshing ur armor and thats it, cant do anything else but that). In s9 zen was also meta, which is an incredibly HUGE counter to ram bc of his discord and ram having no ways to protect himself from it, specially during nemesis form. Also lets not forget the proj. sizes increased by a TON so making ram the easiest target to hit in the entire game. Abt my other main, kiriko, was during s12. The recovery time increased from 0.5 to 0.55 seconds felt incredibly bad for how slow it was and the 8sec tp nerf she got in s11 made her way weaker than ever thanks to her hp going down to 225. So it was pretty rare for a kiriko to be actually useful back then. No wonder i only seen her when the enemies had an ana, never seen her in other situations.

I remember a few things about Sombra: Cloak used to only last for 15 seconds and was an ability you had to actively choose to use, and it had a cooldown. You could not hack people while cloaked. Teleporter only lasted 15 seconds as well and had a maximum range to it, unlike now. EMP used to deal 10000 damage to shields and armor, and would disable all abilities for 10-15 seconds for anyone caught in the radius. Hack used to disable all abilities for 5-10 seconds. I haven't played Overwatch in almost a year now because I cannot stand Sombra's new kit. I tried playing it, but it just is not the same whatsoever. That and I refuse to pay $20 a season for cosmetics. It's not worth the money.

Moira's Fade didn't have the boosted jump at first. They tried it in the PTR not too long after she was introduced and the players liked it enough to keep. Makes hArDcOrE mOiRa PaRkOuR easier. Eichenwalde didn't have that small room to the right of the first choke when it was introduced. So the hellish choke we all know and love today used to be even more hellish and lovable. Sig shield being basically instant was fun for a day or two. Reminds me of how you could flick DVa DM on and off.
