5 minute crackers
Super easy, super fast homemade crackers!
1 1/4 cups flour (I used half whole wheat)
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
4 Tablespoon cold butter cut in cubes (1/2 of a stick)
1/4 cup water
1 Tablespoon honey
Preheat oven to 425F.
Measure out dry ingredients into a food processor bowl. Pulse once. Add butter and pulse until crumbly. Add the water and honey, pulse until combined.
Lightly flour a surface and roll out paper thin. Cut into desired shapes.
Move to parchment lined cookie sheets and bake at 425F. for 10 minutes. If you like really crunchy crackers bake 13-15 minutes. These never last long enough to worry about storing. Enjoy!

Thank you so much!!! I do not have a pressure canner yet, so I am definitely going to can my mushrooms I got yesterday!
I’m so glad I found this video, marinated mushrooms are one of my favorite snacks and ingredients to cook with
Totally didn't notice you were wearing glasses on glasses. Great video 👍
Thank you for showing us this. This is first time that I have seen someone can something. Man, is that easy. I thought it was complicated. So, I'm subbing. Just I was looking around & wanted to learn how to make marinated mushrooms. I love that come in the jar / bottle, but they aren't easy to find & more expensive now. So, I plan to do this ourselves now. ANd, you wouldn't believe, but we have built up more skills during the Pandemic, because we have cooked at home so much. Thus, this is something that we are confident we could take on now.
You crazy lady! I just loved your video, your kitchen your attitude! I’ll do my mushrooms tomorrow! The only thing I missed was a dog in the background...
LOL yes, the dog usually makes an appearance or at least his tail does! I have been adding these to pasta salads and so good!!
😍
You should check the recipe again as your linked recipe shows the actual processing time to be 20 MINUTES, not 10 minutes. Also, you don't have to heat the lids in water anymore, and you shouldn't tip the jars to remove the water when removing them from the canner because the lid isn't sealed till it cools so tilting the jar may cause liquid to ruin the seal, especially since there is oil present.
You just want me to go make some.👍
go for it!!! it's my go to "thing" when I head to the studio in the morning and don't know what to make :)
Great job! I am so looking forward to trying these. Thank you very much!
Greg Richards thanks so much for watching! Enjoy!
2 cups of sugar has been added......sorry!
I am so happy to find your video....it’s exactly what I’ve been wanting to do! I could almost smell your kitchen....lol. I’m new to canning, but marinated mushrooms is my family’s favorite, so I’ll definitely be trying this. Thanks for such an informative video and obviously delicious recipe. I’ve saved and subscribed. Greetings from WV
Penny Venturino Awesome! I just used a jar tonight for a salad! I hope you like this recipe as much as we do. Thanks so much! And WV is sure beautiful❣️
Thanks Sandy.
You had me until the lard!!! Nice to see you live and in action in what is clearly the heart of your home <3
haha yes, the lard stops many but Iris sub out the lard for plant based shortening. It's the only animal product I still use..... eat almost no eggs or dairy and only fish but that hungarian kid just won't die....... stay safe Iris!
