"WHAT DO WE DO WITH THIS GUY, HE'S NUTS?!" We love Sean, that's what we do!
His charm is his worst sin
This game is awesome, really enjoying it, loads of content. You should check out Fortune's Run, it's a unique combination of inspirations like this.
Precisely what I'm looking for.
Here it comes!
Thank you bro my patience is at an all time low and I don't wanna snap like Robert DeNiro on taxi driver
I have no idea what this means, but you’re welcome and I hope to always be of service
Miles didn’t leave because once he fell out of that vent he couldn’t reach it again or at least that’s what I think to make it seem more normal.
I'm surprised this hasn't gotten a lot more views this seems like such an intriguing engaging game I haven't been excited for a game in God now's how long
God i can't wait
Same brother
I keep watching so many reviews to try convince myself to buy this game lol since release. Just got Company of Heroes 3 on PS5
If you decide to get it, let me know what you think!
Weird audio bug around 8:45
Went back and listened. Nice to stroll back through memory lane with this review. I opened by saying I was sick, so I’ll use that as my excuse as to why I missed that LOL
You hit a lot of the same points I felt. I thought it was pretty good but had so much more potential. It was like a Frankenstein of a game trying to be Dark Souls and Uncharted at once. It cost me $6 so it was definitely worth it.
It’s always nice to hear people agree. Especially when I see so much unanimous love for it. Thanks for stopping by and I’m glad you enjoyed the game overall!
@@fallinghurts thanks for the content. You got good stuff!
The main character is ugly AF! The skill timing is awful idea. This is my opinion of this game. I'll buy it for €4 and will play it with trainer just to fast run it as fast as it's possible.
just spent 4 dollars on it, hope it's worth it
just got it the other day, was 2,50€!
This game was so special to me for many reasons The puzzles The story The characters And lastly the atmosphere ❤😁
It’s a great game. Thanks for stopping by!
These graphics are insanely good
After playing, I really felt like I needed a literary criticism of this story bc it is sooo good. And the end does end up being perfect. Because Henry is ironically put in the same situation that he left his wife in: being left behind and forgotten because of his proximity to a traumatic event. Because it’s who Delilah is and it’s also who Henry is- people running away from their problems and hurting the ones they love in the process. There’s so much more to say and I do feel like Delilah and even Ned to an extent symbolize and mirror back parts of Henry’s internal struggle. I kind of felt like Delilah might be a stand-in for his internal voice and she certainly has some similar problems. Ned is a guy who decided never to leave the forest because he can’t confront the reality of the death he experienced there. And the final scene is about trying to escape the forest and it feels like we’re physically leaving but part of us will be stuck there forever.
This is really well done, very informative and concise, thank you. Looking forward to playing this.
Me too! Thanks for tuning in man
This was an absolutely amazing video! My jaw dropped to see you're at only 1,400 subscribers. You're a gem in the rough!
Stop it you’re gonna make me cry or something. Thanks for stopping by!
Well u gained another sub
Was thinking the same. Video is way more professional than the sub count shows. Keep it up, and subbed.

“It’s coming from EA as a publisher, so that’s really cool" Is it though? Is it really?
Honestly, I will push back! EA originals has always put out unique games that boast decent quality. Sure you’ve got Battlefield and sports games, but this is pretty separated from that IMO. Maybe I’m wrong, but the team seems passionate!
@fallinghurts I appreciate the pushback for sake of convo, but haven’t they eaten up any good will? I think that what they’re doing with EA originals is admirable on the face of it, as they have dropped some quality games that have that “Indy” flare about them, but still EA has consumed and completely digested and shit out companies that made insanely great games/long running IPs. Let’s not even talk about how they ruined Dead Space 3, then terminated Visceral because they practically forced them to shit put something DS was never meant to be. Do we have to bring up Battlefront, loot box scandles, all that? But, while I will always hate EA and think they don’t deserve anyone’s money, I can’t say you have exactly zero legs to stand on.
I got this game for like 2$ best purchase in my life.
Enjoy!!
As an amateur stop motion animator myself as well as avid gamer, I can really appreciate and sympathize with the work put into this game. I just learned about it today, and it looks so so cool.
Haroldddd, so excited to play next week :))
Aragami 1 vibes
That’s what I’ve been hearing. I need to play those!
Slapped the like button immediately for "sleep walkie talkie" 😂
It was SO hard to come up with jokes for this game so I’m glad at least one landed 😭
It’s weird, maybe because I’m not young I remember ‘Neverhood’, ‘Rampage’ and even more recently ‘Gob’ (from the haunted demo disk) having this look. Even ‘DOOM’ scanned in clay models for their sprites. It’s cool and all the anount of effort is worthwhile but nothing revolutionary.
I’ll be completely honest, of all those games I’m only familiar with Rampage and Doom. Being deeply intimate with doom, I think the difference here is Harold Halibut still looks like clay in game. I see what you’re saying. perhaps the process isn’t all that new, but the result is refreshing and very stylish to me. Regardless, thanks for stopping and talking!
omg Gob looks amazing. i absolutely loved the demo and i really really hope the full game is still in the works
This wasn’t on my radar at all. As a large fan of stop motion/claymation, thank you for the time it took to make this video and getting more eyes on the project.
As someone who does these videos, thank you! It is always nice to hear you’ve introduced someone new to a game. A love of games is what it’s all about!
As a fan of both Aragami games, I'm certainly looking forward to this one!
I don't think many stop motion films are animated at 15fps
They have a jerky motion due to imperfection. Some even have fingerprints. I think having a bit of that might add to the charm.
There should be a setting to keep the animations locked at 15fps. The smooth motion kills the stop motion vibe.
I see what you’re saying where clay models and stop motion are intrinsically linked, but for me I think the hand crafted models/environments is the biggest draw. Would love a more emulated animation though!
I kinda like what they're doing. Animating on 2's is a cost saving measure. Laika's been animating on 1's for a while and their films look fantastic.
It's an interesting game- i'm playing it and it s funny
Well done video, great overview and perspective, keep up the great work!
Thank you! It means a ton and helps motivate as I work towards the next big project like this. :)
@fallinghurts Very Welcome! This video and others despite covering the story really well, inspired me to get the game and experience it myself, in fact I just saved my game for the first time for a break. Look forward to future projects of yours!
Wow, I can't believe I just found out about this. Really interesting game looking forward to doing CO-OP with some of my friends in it, I hope they have a release window of 2024 tired of seeing games getting delayed over and over again (especially the really ambitious ones), I hope one thing we get is night vision goggles especially if we're playing at night. Keep up the great work my man.
This is very interesting
Highly recommend. Thanks for stopping by!
My pike dog bet you cat archer
Okay I’ll kiss you then
Wait, what!
This year's ~~7th~~ 6th of October (always thought it was 7th of October, weird) will mark a 10 year anniversary of Alien: Isolation. Pretty wild to think about
It’s insane! I’ve got a video script part made for a retrospective that’ll come out on that date!
@@fallinghurts niiiice, I always welcome some Isolation praise :)
I love this game, but I do agree I could have a remake
W vid
Lol why is Mr beast on the thumbnail
Listen, it’s been a minute since I made that. Though, I’m pretty sure I was just joking that it’s like his “last person to leave the circle gets money” videos LOL
Such an underrated channel! Your Firewatch videos my personal favourite
I appreciate that! The Firewatch video is the one in the most proud of. When I have more time later this year, I’ll be doing another longer form like that one!
Thanks, you've convinced me to spend a whole £3.50 in the sale =]
At that rate, it’s a steal. Enjoy!
Im about to get it as well!! lol
Who are those guys who been fallowing u around?
That’s my crew. Man these are so old it feels like. I was accepting quests in Oblivion that gave you temporary flollowers and never finishing the quests so they stayed with me
@@fallinghurts yeah... I figure it out in the end...Thanks.......Btw U can get a permanant fallowers tho.... Like the battelhorn man at arms or the dark brotherhood murderers
i played the whole game in 1 day, it was very good but i got lost at times and felt like i wasnt going the right way when i actually was, but thats my only complaint about the whole game, and likely just my bad navigation skills.
Nice video, think I'll purchase it during EA's Spring sale on PC.
Thank you! Enjoy :)
'Promo SM'
Good review, mate! Keep up the good work.
This comment just made me look back at that video and see it got more than 30 views. Thanks! Lol And actually thanks for stopping and talking
Really appreciated this review. I wanted to see if this game was worth my time. This was helpful.
Helpful is the aim. One of the greatest compliments. Glad to help!
Control is my favorite game for now, a masterpiece.
Control is fantastic! I am going to replay soon for a review going through the series. I’m super excited
I liked it, it's like a supernatural Deus Ex, very atmospheric, but I found it too short, and the combat is very simple, with very little variety of enemies. It seems that they put more emphasis on replayability, crafting and difficulty levels, than on creating different levels and enemies. Also, in immersive sims there are usually powers of some kind: cybernetic implants, plasmids, void abilities, neuromods, but not here, despite there is a blue sanity bar, which could have been the mana. It is from the same creators as Heliophobia. I liked Heliophobia more because this one is more surreal, longer and terrifying, but it belongs to another genre. I don't know if the devs have plans for another game, but what I would like to see is a game with the atmosphere of Heliophobia, some element of immersive sim like Ad Infernum, but action and horror, with firearms and magical powers, something as Clive Barker's Undying.
Really interesting perspective on a lot of this. To be honest, I hadn’t played enough immersive sims to speak definitively on the magical aspects. I knew Deus Ex only a little and Arkane games teeter a fine line in the genre at times. So I mostly opted to talk about what I knew best; the survival horror. Which was fine, but I think a full commitment to that aspect over imsim would’ve done the game wonders. Thanks for stopping by!
