I admit, I have a love hate relationship with this game. Some parts flow so smoothly while other parts are (possibly) more annoying than getting teeth pulled with no anaesthetic.

I think you’ve inspired me to make my own retrospective on this game. It’s a game that’s so incredibly special to me personally, and this video is amazing.

28:55 finding the blueprints early is something a lot of players actually fail to do. Blueprints have multiple different spawn locations so that if a player misses one of the earlier locations, they can still find one of the later ones. A lot of players I've seen missed the first medkit blueprint you found for example. So, the pacing of blueprints will vary from one player to another.

Colonial Marines and Fireteam Elite was some of the most fun a me and buddy of mine ever had. Colonial Marines felt like a fever dream and it's only really good if you can make fun of it with friends and Fireteam Elite was genuine coop fun. Just wanted to throw that out there since I feel that Colonial Marines is underrated in a "so bad it's good" kind of way.

What did you think about Romulus haven’t seen it yet. My favorite is aliens. Love the marines

New Vegas fans kept me from playing New Vegas for years because they kept slandering my beloved Fallout 4 , which introduced me to the franchise .They hurt that which they claim to love , they are the Calf that bites of its mother's udders . I love New Vegas A LOT but I prefer Fallout 4 .Better Story , Gameplay , Enviroment , Soundtrack , slightly more likeable characters and far less chance of crashing when being modded .I can actually fucking play all of the game plus DLCs without being eternally locked out of vast stretches of content due to crashes and not being able to fix it because the community does not help me .

One of my best friends is a dev for this game and he let me try it out on his PS5 Dev Kit. He showed me stuff that is not public, and I'm not allowed to talk about it. But let me just say, I'm definitely playing this game once it's fully released! Was quite a lot of fun to play!

gameplay sucks, scenes repeating, level design not clear on its all linear and story is disaster

This game is on sale on PS for $3.74 each for both PS4 & PS5. It definitely seems worth less than $4.

Wow, nice review my dude. I'm currently on FO4 now and I started thinking that I love these type of games but the writing and RPG mechanics haven't been Bethesda's strong point for a while now. I was thinking about how to mod FO4 to make it more of an RPG, and 2 things came to mind: Fallout London (which I'm eager to try but am gonna wait a bit so it's a bit more stable), and that old Skyrim total conversion mod that had really good reviews when it came out and was said to be a bit better in the RPG department than the game it's running on lol So yeah every review I see fills me with more and more confidence that I'm gonna enjoy this one.

Do you need subscription service like gamepasss and ps plus to play online? I’m trying to get back into this game but I don’t want to to make a purchase then Only be able to play local.

I had a soft lock where Cody got downed in the back garden by a zombie, i headed inside to see if i had a medkit, the only item that can revive Cody when downed, i didn't... and the game auto saved when i headed inside, so Cody was saved in the downed and dying state, having said that after restarting the run i'm still enjoying myself :)

Not expecting plot in a shooter? There are plenty of shooters with plot... I would expect one, unless told otherwise... Even DOOM 2016, the most shooter'y shooter lately, has quite a large amount of plot... it's just not important for the gameplay.

Its no brutal fate, but looks nice.

I wish more developers would re-visit mature renderers more. These old school graphics are timeless. I know there’s the 8-but look-alikes etc. but why they don’t just USE the actual engine they are imitating is beyond me. Especially since so many api translators are out now to enable them to work on modern hardware. I would love to see some new content using the Dark engine (Thief) for example. The newer sneak-em ups just don’t feel as good.

The story is a slow burn, the characters suck until you get near the end of the story. The gameplay is equally bad. Lack of enemy variety, 4major bosses total, mediocre platforming, and yet you recommend the game and like it? Did I get that right 😂
