VINTAGE RIVETS MADE EASY
Переглядів 269Рік тому
I personally love the look of vintage rivets! Specifically 0ld school solid rivets! With that style rivet every project is a win but finding those rivets and installing them can be difficult. So in this video I'll show you the quick and easy way I have found to get that rivet look! I love how it looks, plus it's an added security to the abandoned mill remodel.

    In 2024 there is a worldwide shortage of the raw ingredient needed to manufacture Viton fluoroelastomer rubber tubing. This tubing is used in portable generators and some power equipment because it can carry ethanol fuel and resist high temperatures. Copper tubing would be a superior replacement in most applications if quick connects were used to make it come apart.

    What if you have to flare the line while it's on the vehicle? such as the line running down from the master cylinder that doesn't need replaced. I guess I would have to remove it from the vehicle to flare it?

    No offense, Anthony, but I researched this and found MANY UA-cam videos that say the Metabo, for $10 more when on sale, is waaaaay better. That being said, maybe you can do a follow up video on the accessories to go with angle grinders and where to buy them, including links. Thanks.

      I guess I should have talked about it more but the hand grip on this thing is the biggest selling point. The cheap Metabo would kill your hands after a short time!

    Both my wife and I carry the JFEGWO jump starter in our cars. Even if the battery is too low to charge, you can still use any USB power source or the cigarette lighter of another vehicle. Plus, we never have to worry about charging it every few months.

    Wet sanding is not new and is only good to remove the extreme excess mudd. If you try to paint it, you'll understand why there is no way to avoid sanding with actual sandpaper as it is the ONLY way to get the surface smooth enough for paint.

    • @Tipsandtoolstuesday
      @Tipsandtoolstuesday 5 місяців тому

      I didn't say it was new I first did it 20 years ago. If you do a good job of putting the mud on I can get it to a level 4 finish and we aren't doing a gloss paint so...

    • @johng9562
      @johng9562 4 місяці тому

      I have used the wet sanding technique to remove excess quickset, but as soon as the final coat of regular mud is applied, it's only sandpaper. This is not my opinion, it's the truth ~ there never has been any way to avoid actual sanding, no matter the paint sheen.

    The display of multiple cars is really impressive! I have purchased many products from JF.EGWO, and initially, I encountered a situation similar to you when starting one of the cars. It started but couldn't continue running. When I inquired with their customer service, they explained that the intelligent clamps automatically shut off 3 seconds after starting the car to prevent over-discharge caused by continuous running of the battery. Therefore, for the second start, you need to unplug and plug in the clamps again. This is a safety feature! If you want it to continue running after starting, you can purchase another type of clamps from their store, eliminating the need to unplug and plug. It's very convenient, although the safety effectiveness of these clamps is not as good as the original ones. Overall, I find the experience quite good, and it's a quality product. I have already recommended it to many friends around me.
