How did you cut it ink side up, get it on the transfer tape ink side up abd tben when you taped it on the cup, the white part was outside? How did you get it off the cuttjng sheet?

Great video! What do you seal the painted earrings with?

I realise this is an old video so maybe you can’t comment but I am really struggling with creating the image trace. I am ignoring the white however for some reason some of my back ground becomes different shades of white. So some of the white is remaining behind after image trace. It will not let me ignore a second colour (if I swap it the rest of the white returns) can you change the tolerance at all? If I move it into the glowforge programme there are so many tiny dots it’s hard to know what to ignore and it’s messing up the design. Any help really appreciated 😀

I am so glad to have found you :). I've been looking for this problem for so long and most of the info is about lightburn. But I love illustrator and lightburn looks like 1995 :D. After the first 15 seconds I had to smile painfully because so many times I cut something out and it didn't fit perfectly

Thank you, Vic. What filetype are you using that gives you options for cutting, engraving and scoring? I just tried a glowforge and only got options for engraving (my filetype was .png)?

it look awesome what is your laser cutting working size? and do u only use laser cutting to create this wall clock? can i have ur laser cut model anyway?

I've been trying at this for two or three hours now and I just don't get it. I have a box template and I used live trace, turned the score colours blue like yours and exported both the cutting and the score together like yours, but it comes out as a clusterfuck of bajillion pieces in the GF app that's a mix and match of the cut + score lines at random. I can't use "Join" because it gives me an error that they are invalid objects. I used all the default image trace settings like yours.

Such a great video! I assume bc you're sharing, there is plenty of opportunity to go around? I want to buy a glowforge and start making earrings so bad! Lol. I love this idea too, but do ppl really buy the wooden things, outside of ornaments, door hangers and such?
