The story was definitely better than anything hollywood's put out in the last few years but the acting was terrible.

The changes from the original were appreciated - the dragon was silly but well done for the budget provided - excellent work!

I think I also fell in love with Ranger at first sight as well. Lol

Some of these fan films I'm watching are absolutely beautiful. I think tbis one may be the best I've seen. Just the feel of it. Beautiful. I am curious about why the directorial choice to change their names however.

After noticing the desctiption I have to say I have 0 issues for indeed Cirdan was a great elf and had a great beard. But what I had a bit of an issue is that the Ranger wasn't given a proper name and continuety wise how despite Deren being obviously still alive after the dragon fight nobody bothered to give the man a hand lol,or...well he isn't but it still wasn't potrayed it a way that it made it certain he died. Great film, strange how it only came to my attention so many years after its release.

I really liked the elements of the sword pointing to the dragon and throwing the sword one last time!

It's very difficult to make a decent fantasy film with a small budget. Your film is one of the few good movies inspired by Tolkien's works, especially in acting and characters aspect. I hope, you will make more short films.
