this is one of many of my favroite songs by jeremy camp..its true as humans our automatic response is to protect those things we hold so deer without any eternal value..everything in this life is so temporary.our fight between our fleshly lusts and desires and the spirit is real but jesus is the answer and he is a god of mercy and grace!

All of Jeremy's songs touch my heart in so many ways. He makes it all sound so easy to understand and it inspires me so much. When I need some words of wisdom I listen to his songs and it puts things in such perspective.

Beautiful! I have loved this song since it's original inception but, every time I hear it, I feel depths of tearful gratitude. If we could remember this when we touch other lives as well ... well, the point is "love". Just Love.

This song reminds me of how I should let go of the things holding me back from the Lord, and come closer to Him. <3

@millycyrusrocks to lose some friends. when i told my friends i wouldnt keep doing some of those things they turned on me. But you also have to understand that the ones who leave are not your true friends. Its the ones that stay who really matter. Everyone falls though. Thats part of who we are. when you do just go to God and ask forgiveness. Seek God with all your heart and he will answer. Good luck and ill be praying for you:)

@millycyrusrocks I went through the same thing. im a 19 year old guy and i accepted Christ at 18. When i did i had tons of friends keep trying to get me to cuss, fight, drink, pursue sex and stuff. The thing that helped me was realizing when i truly have Christ i dont need those things. But also, you need to be straight up with your friends. tell em that you want to be closer with Christ and to please respect that. True friend will understand that. But you also have to be ready

I'm a 17 year old girl and like I say I'm a Christian and stuff but then the next day I go right back to my old habits of cussing and rapping and like music is my life and I thought about writing worship songs etc and the other thing is I have friends that pressure me to listen to rap etc cuz it cool and stuff and I have tried to really Christian but it's hard and I'm having trouble finding who I am you know

We can't do anything different if were affriad to, Because were prideful(or at least i am) If we Let go, then God will use us in ways we can't imagin, and we will be worthy enough to call ourselfs his servents

I sit at a lunch table in high school and the only conversashions my friends have is about provertity and cussing, but i don't cuss, because I'm a christian, and I'm letting them be the influence, not me... I need to give up myself, i need to give up this world, i need to let go of everything so i can build up a worthy life for God, so i can feel somewhat accomlished when i get to heaven and see him, I need to witness, show uncondishional love, help out everyone i can when i canI needToBeBetter

I tell you,God speaks to us in many ways. I was at a point in my life where i did not know which way to turn but on the way to work i heard this song and it all came rushing in at once. The love i had been missing,the forgiveness i needed and the touch of someone much greater than me. The next week i got on my knees at church and cried out for Jesus,Cried out for God....and i have never felt better! We are all loved,You just have to open your heart to that love and it WILL come rushing in!
