1982 Honda DAX ST70 Test Drive & Walkaround
This is a lifetime collector owned 1982 Honda Dax ST70. This is the European released Honda CT70 but more for street usage.It is a three speed automatic with an internal clutch. Just shift and go. It is wearing its original paint, original seat, etc., and everything works. Forgot to show the horn functioning but it does. Also, my driver, Nick, was trying to point out that the chrome strip on to of the frame still has the blue protective plastic on it after 42 years! If you have any interest call (817) 403-7723

I had one of those when I was about 13,Mine was gold,with black paint.I remember my dad bought it from a Honda dealer for $200 (big money back then).He was alway"s working on it for me,he was very mechanical.Then when I got older bought a well used Trail 90,a big step up!

That was my first experience riding one. I had a cousin who lived in Luverne, N.D. and my family would go visit routinely and ride their 1969 Honda Trail 70. It was so much fun!

My cousin had one and we so looked forward to going out to their farm to ride it. I love the no clutch to manage. Makes for very simple gear shifting.

Your pedals looked like they're fixed. How do you pedal to start. You missed the most important part.
They are "fixed." You push the bike and jump on it releasing the clutch. If you have it dialed in it will start right up.

occ stingray bikes are a dead end build...plus even the prettiest one is ugly as hell
