Cutting Back a Giant ‘Atomic Snowflake’
That's an awesome greenhouse! Greetings from the other side of the pond, in TX, where we are having freezing temps at the moment, down to -5C at night. We have the potted plants all stuffed in the back porch, lets see how they survive - Your plants all look so happy! I love Variegated leaves, so beautiful!

What a lovely plants 🪴 Like 64 My friend thank you for good sharing Have a good relationship
look forward to any potting/ repotting demos on this channel. Also appreciate when you make any conversion references of temps or metrics for us U.S. pelargonium lovers. It's amazing that all the plants in your new larger greenhouse came from your former smaller one! This one already looks full!. I've not had much success in keeping my pelargoniums/ geraniums through summer but then I live in Texas and understand they'll mostly be an annual for me. However, I keep trying. Evidently the ivy geraniums appear to be the hardiest for my area. I'm still waiting for garden centers to have them in stock in spring(March) here. I get really mesmerized with the scenteds and enjoy them for as long as possible. Thank you again.
interesting! fist time i see someone collect this type. Family of geraniums in form of trees! 👍🏼👏🏼
Hi David! I really need your help! This is my first time ever owning a pelargonium. I bought it online and the plant I received is very leggy. It hasn't flowered but the leaf looks identical to that of regal pelargonium. I wanna know if there is any kind of trailing type of regal pelargonium or is my plant struggling with something. Thank you!!
@@GeijutsuPoint Hi, there are no trailing varieties of Regals, if it is a Regal I guess it’s just very leggy. If the leaves are firm then it should be fine. If the leaves are small it may be an Angel as they droop due to the thin stems. D
@mrpelly Thank you so much for your reply David! I'll always be a huge fan of what you're doing.
All looking good in the greenhouse. Thanks for the video. All the best 🇬🇧.
Hi, Very Beautiful, Geranium u have Sir, New Subscriber Friend 🤝🙏💐
You have an amazing greenhouse!
Hello bạn có một khu vườn ươm cây rất đẹp và tiện ích ,tôi rất vui được xem bạn chia sẻ kinh nghiệm làm vườn với bạn bè ,xin cảm ơn về những chia sẻ của bạn .
I would appreciate your help please. I bought a small yellowish flowered pelargonium this summer at a show (but forgot to pick up a label and haven't been able to find a name). I think i repotted it too late in the year and I brought it indoors as it lost all its leaves and i was worried that it was really unhappy. I don't have anywhere light for it to sit indoors as i have a lot of houseplants. Will it be ok without light for a while as it has no leaves? Thank you.
@@juliashearer7842 Hi Julia, basically no. Pelargoniums are very light sensitive and need some even in the winter. If you wish to keep it you will need to find a cool indoor windowsill. If it had yellowish colouring I’m guessing that it was a zonartic type as these do tend to drop their leaves more. D
@@mrpellythank you so much. I saw some videos a while ago of people overwintering their pelargoniums bareroot and completely dried out tucked away in the dark. I thought it might work! Thank you for the clue for an ID too.
Thanks for all the videos. All the best 🇬🇧.
Seasons greetings, Happy New year 🎉 ✨️.
Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year to you and Mrs. Pelargonium! Looking forward to all your videos for 2025.

I know you must be so relieved!
Very nice!! Have fun with your plants in your spacious, well lit greenhouse. We can see how tall you really are! I did find the video difficult to hear, though. Sometimes the sound got a little louder but not much.
Looks fantastic! SO much room in there! You must be very happy with it! I know I would be. Congrats!
Congrats for new greenhouse ❤
Brilliant job ..well done and the best of luck with the new house.....you deserve that new greenhouse.
WOW! The greenhouse looks great.Congrats.
Mr Pelargonium, you are amazing. All that work, bent over, on your knees! Wow, I would have guessed that you are a twenty year old if i didn't know better.
Amazing!!!
Wow,its a big greenhouse😍
Fabulous greenhouse indeed and won't it be put to very good use ! The red tape on the brace sounds like a good idea but I'm sure you'll soon get used to it. Tremendous amount of hard work but well worth the effort and just in time for a cold spell coming next week, well it is up here in North Yorks, I think we're in for a few chilly nights.
@@soulgirlktf Yes, thanks, it is good timing, severe frost forecast down here next week.
Thanks so much for the update…have been missing you…beautiful greenhouse…really enjoying the process
Brilliant! All that stress and very hard work but it looks great and I cannot wait to see what it looks like when it is finished.
Looked a massive job to undertake. Glad you were able to get it done with some professional help. Nice looking greenhouse. Hope the weather holds out till you get the plants in. All the best 🇬🇧.
WOW! That's a real beauty of a greenhouse! A LOT of work though. Thanks for time lapsing it! It's going to be GREAT!
It’s beautiful!
Superb David! I'm as bald as you, but only five foot eight, (and a half!), but I have the same problem of no warning when you are about to walk into things. If you have a decent tool merchants nearby, ask for a "Bump cap" -a baseball type of hat, with a plastic dome inside, I've been saved many times by one, when I was working under computer room floors.
