What started out as a tutorial on writing music "improvisationally" ended up as a classic Schuman piece featuring Joel Rosenblatt on drums, Vinny Valentino on guitars and Sarah Brooks on vocals.

Thanks, Tom! I've been following your music since I was first starting to learn bass in the late 80's. My first love of music playing bass was jazz/fusion. It's still a mystery on how I discovered Spyro Gyra. Either I found the cassette tapes in my parts stereo storage area or I randomly bought it at the record store. I instantly made a connection with the music and have been a fan ever since. Seen you guys a handful of times out here in the SF Bay Area. When Galamon came out with their second album I was so stoked and excited you guested on it. So fast forward to now, I actually found a career in music with help to your inspiration. I compose music for hbo, netflix and mobile game apps. Needless to stay I switched from bass to keyboards! :)

I feel privileged that I got to noodle on one of your keyboards when your soundman asked me to play it during a sound check at the Roxy in Atlanta 😉 Also worked as LD for the opening act at a couple of your shows at the Variety Playhouse. As a keyboard player myself, you and Jon Lord are the 2 players I really count as influences.
