You use worse like unpopular and downfall but yet cs2 has had consistently more players than csgo ever did and is setting new records all the time. I don't disagree cs2 is worse than csgo at the moment but come on lol you can't claim the game is dying or is on its downfall. I am sure cs2 will he better than csgo in time, cs2 launched way better than csgo ever did or any other cs game

To be honest the game got killed due to the feel of CS2. The over all game feel of CS:GO was so perfect but then when CS2 came out it felt horrid. And while graphical updates can be nice I think there is a certain comfort in the way CS was post CS2 and people being forced out of that comfort into something that felt off and in polished was what killed off so much of the player base.

CS2 (CSPOO!) is fucking awful. there i saved you13 minutes.

People might need to get used with a new feels of game and had to wait for things (new events and stuffs to come up with), but the aim-bots and cheaters problem... literally jack up of 'unbearable' state for community. CS:GO cheating problems is bad but that's seems to be slice of cake for CS2 had.

Counter Strike was one of the few game IPs that was actually cops and robbers on the market. Not army or call of duty mind you, that’s much bigger scale, and almost every game did that from the late 90s to now. What set counter strike apart was the real life history and events being used to contextualize and teach you about real life police and criminal organizations across the world, and the limitations of money and how much you can carry that made maps more dynamic and interactive as a result. The reason why CS2 does not work on a fundamental level is that they have vandalized and smeared the real life elements that gave it grounding in reality, and sanded off almost everything that a person can possibly use to interact with a map or customize the game out of fear that people won’t play Barbie dress up with their made up M4A1 assault rifle. Counter Strike 2 and later updates to GO are fundamentally a game that has absolutely nothing left of what made valves games unique. Reactivity. There is no issue in the way CS works that doesn’t relate to bad game design, sterile dollar store mirror’s edge maps that look like a Nickelodeon game show in a bowl of fruit loops, and self destructive behavior that encourages mass spending on guns that look like a 3rd grader made in ms paint on windows 95. If you told me that a Chinese company made CS2 after reading a Wikipedia article and watching some mlg footage with a ms paint gun to their staff’s heads, I would believe you. CS2 is literally just that Gmod skit: Counter Strike for Kids! They even have the obscene gore and blood which was the butt of a joke and is now out of place. That was not advice on how to make a good game, valve. What’s wrong with you? CSGO and 2 lack a heart, and are sterile husks of a game from what once was a company that knew better. Maybe it’s for the best they stopped making games and published games that the people who played them actually wanted. Because these new valve shovelware games are a disgrace. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. And clearly valve keeps breaking more crap with untested and unnecessary forced updates than they fix. Just look at Steam, maybe they should stop forcing people into new operating systems they don’t want to use and locking them out of their games and accounts for using older windows and Linux versions instead of making half baked games that were way too hyped up for how bad they are.

Give credit to Makinasvp, SintaxError and XShark for being the original players to come up with an embeded timer on a surf map, then Slasher for creating the plugin timer for EGI, KSFs timer came a year or so later.

in cs2 not one of these gamemodes is popular or available, there is not even good retake servers... cs2 is completely dogshit,no fun,no one plays it anymore its incredible
