My wish list: I expect a more powerful car. Maybe the BMW S6 turbo from the M2/3/4 is a good bet. And it's highly tunable (😉). Another candidate could be the Alfa/Maserati/Ferrari V6 turbo. Equally powerful but not so tunable. Also, you might want to consider making the car a bit better aerodynamically while keeping the general shape and proportions since the speeds will rise to over 300 Kph. Another selling point is to be able to provide manual (6speed) and auto (paddle-shift) gearboxes (?). The weight could reach the 800 Kg point but if you are pushing 600-700 ps is almost irrelevant. And maybe think about a complete carbon passenger tub with aluminium subframes fore and aft...Just some ideas!

I'm obsessed with the Audi 5 cylinder (personally daily an Audi 100 Avant equipped with one) So I'll be sad to see it go! But I'm also excited for the future, and for this wonderful send-off
