This practice is made however you define it. Take this as your moment to create a routine you feel inspired by. I believe in us to create something beautiful from it.

“I’ll start when the time is right”? When things settle down. When you feel ready. When life finally gives you the green light. But what if waiting is the very thing holding you back? The perfect moment doesn’t arrive-it’s made. Right here. Right now. This moment, as imperfect and messy as it may seem, is yours. What you do with it is up to you. So, what if this is the moment you’ve been waiting for?

Here’s your first step: choose three people who inspire you most, and write down one lesson you can learn from each of them. This is how we can start to turn that idea into your personal board of directors and start building your dream life.

The real lesson is that you have full control over how you respond to life’s challenges. Navigating the chaos of airline travel is a great example of learning to let go of what’s beyond your control. The questio is: will you let these moments make you bitter, or will you choose to see them as opportunities to grow better?

Here’s how I turn it around-and how you can too: • Set a Timer: Decide how much time you realistically want to spend on social media. Use a timer to stay accountable and avoid overconsuming. • Digital Detox: Unfollow accounts that drain your energy or make you feel negative. Curate your feed with content that uplifts and inspires you. • Engage Meaningfully: Like, comment, and interact with the content that resonates with you. This helps shape your algorithm to deliver more of what you love. • Reflect and Reset: Ask yourself what you want to gain from your time online. Use this as a guide to stay intentional. Social media is a tool-use it mindfully to stay inspired and empowered. Let’s break the doomscrolling habit together! What steps will you take to create a healthier relationship with social media? Let me know in the comments!

While I’m not saying you shouldn’t follow through, I believe it is important to reflect critically on how we might overextend ourselves. Once you have made the commitment to something, it is so important to follow through, so that your words and your actions agree with each other. That said, having a better sense of what you can do, and what you realistically can’t is so important. So follow through, but give yourself more time than you think for each commitment. Honor their time, and yours as well.

But if those habits aren’t serving you, why are you continuing to give them any of your precious time? I know it might initially seem more challenging to seek out habits you know may be better for you, but please, why not try? Meet yourself where you are, and start as small as you need to. We have explored habits a lot, but it will take a lifetime to master them. One step at a time, the two of us.

that you can grow far more than you currently might believe. If you do have faith in that growth potential, keep scrolling on! Otherwise, just remember this; You’ll never know where you can go if you don’t give your best shot at trying. We never know the outcome, what will come of this moment and the next, but why not try to direct your energy intentionally? A vector has magnitude and direction. The end point is not the focus, but rather the origin. Where it started, and where it’s heading is what we care about. Be your best vector today. Your tomorrow self will thank you for it.

Life can be messy. External factors can derail the best laid plans, but you can always plant seeds of change in your life towards something that can work for you long term. I hope for you to at least give it a chance. I believe there is no downside to trying. You’ve got this.

I could take my own advice here…👇 It seems all too easy to speak about virtues which inspire us, then struggle to put them into practice wholeheartedly. Something I recognize commonly, is a desire we have for something which hasn’t come yet, or has already happened. So remember, this moment is all you have, no matter how routine it may seem.

  • @paulborash

Four words of many ⬇️ In my experience at least, there are an overwhelming amount of words for us to describe this life. These four are just a few that come to mind which have had a significant impact on mine. To simplify: you need less than you have, and your mindset is influencing your reality. What you take for granted might be someone else’s dream come true. To trust: unless you have captured the genie in the bottle, none of us know the outcome. Remind yourself that things out of your control are happening all around you. For ownership: whether it is your time, money, energy, or simply your thought’s, I believe empowerment starts with self-accountability. For Priority: What is currently getting you out of bed in the morning? Are you taking action in your life for things that matter most to you? All of this is subjective, and individualistic, but I hope these words can plant a seed in your mind, to blossom how you see fit.

It all starts with a perspective,👇👇 How will you decide how you view your past? It is forever a part of your life story. So the question then becomes split twofold. How can you constructively learn from your past self, and what can you do now to be most proud of the moments to come which will then define this moment as the past as well? Why don’t we choose to show up for ourselves today; show up with critical attention to the details which we often seem to brush away, and to show up with self love and respect first.

  • @paulborash

When life feels off balance, giving yourself a reset can help you regain control before stress takes over. Our attention is often strained more easily than we realize, but even a simple one-minute meditation can make a big difference. I found a minute long meditation on Spotify that I now turn to whenever I feel overwhelmed. Whether it’s on Spotify, UA-cam, or even a calming audio you record yourself, take the chance to center yourself. It only takes a moment, and you can do it anytime, anywhere, as often as you need. If you’d like to learn more about this habit and how it’s impacted my life, feel free to DM me-I’d love to share!

Whether you consider yourself an artist or not, the way your actions carry out each day are making the story of your life. It is a more beautiful canvas than you may realize, and what’s the alternative? Look back at what you have sculpted so far; how does that make you feel? If not proud, that is okay. You can refine and redefine constantly. I believe in you.

Maybe you need to upgrade the one for your coffee also, but the kind of coffee filter I’m talking about more importantly is more of a metaphor. In this busy life we try to navigate, I think it is more important than ever to establish a strong habit of blocking out things that aren’t serving us. It can be totally challenging, and absolutely overwhelming. Why don’t you consider starting with one thing, in one aspect of your life? Let’s build from there.

  • @paulborash
    @paulborash 2 місяці тому

Is it hiding it your ceiling? ⬇️ I sure hope your honesty is not up there, but much like this level, honesty with ourselves and others serves as our equilibrium or balance. Of course, there are more aspects to this, but I believe the two go hand-in-hand nonetheless. Also, let me know if you do discover some honesty up in your ceiling, or in your floor. That would be awesome. . . . #personaldevelopment #selfreflection #selfimprovement #discipline #consistency #dailydiscipline #selfimprovementjourney #honesty

Maybe I'm making too much of a reach here, but much like the foundation of our home, the internal foundation by which we live our lives act just the same. If we don't nourish it, and strengthen it how can we expect to stand the test of time? other words, manage challenges that life throws at us, and persist towards success(however we define it)?

As the song suggests, just hold on. My repeated actions make me who I am; not just one interest, job, or thought that! have. Do you consider what your current combination of efforts come together to create? Are you happy with that combination? Or is there something you can change today in order to be more satisfied with the result tomorrow?

  • @paulborash

A dream, a vision, an aspiration for something better. This is the starting point. Without solidifying this part of our journey, how can we expect to know we are going to land?
