Only feeding dry food: THANK YOU! I have 2 cats who began putting on weight like crazy. So when the weather warmed up (they're more hungry in cold weather) i stopped feeding it. It took patience but 3 years later they get their 2 meals a day & actually move around 😂 Years ago i had a diabetic cat. Cats are notoriously hard to regulate. It was awful- never again. The inflation right now is crazy & i can no longer afford to feed the quality of wet food that i used to- but feeding dry food is NOT an option. Cats are obligate carnivores- their system is designed to digest meat & they get most of their moisture from it. I used to make cat food but some batches they liked & some they wouldnt touch. Im really glad you brought up the dry food thing.

These tips are dumb. Not only do they generalize cat personalities, they also assume everyone is in a similar situation with similar set ups. You wont benefit from 2 litter boxes in most households, for example, if you only have one cat. If they ever have to choose between litter box and the floor, they will always choose litter box in an average sized house.... You can even easily use 1 litter box (of decent size) for multiple cats, presuming your house isnt massive. The litter boxes in this video are tiny. Larger ones are probably more appealing and comfortable to use.

Idk if this just feels like common sense to me since I have grown up with cats my whole life or if it's just a good idea. I study plants and keep all my specimines away from my cats, bar the safe ones they can play with and make sure the ones safe for them are not in dangerously high dosages.

Never want your attention? Lmao WHAT?? Tell that to my cat in my face yowling at me as soon as she senses I am awake. Or even when I am sleeping and she wants cuddles or is hungry.

When one is packing their house furniture in preparation for moving. I had 3 cats at that time & I brought all the cats together to their new home. I left them at the old place with their familiar furniture & smells. I moved over quite some distance & to a real house, not an apartment which was very cramped. Their furniture came first, one piece at a time. But they were enchanted with the birds in the trees. The trees were much closer.

I would add... By not playing with your cat they feel neglected. Be sure to play with them everyday

0:24 I try to use my its ok encouraging voice when things happen. My cat will come to me when tis a bad hairball and I just lightly touch her side. I have a feral cat it took over 3 years and outta the blue it came inside and started sleeping in the bed at my feet at first the at my back now on me or at my bellyand lets me pet her its crazy even my cat eatting dog wont touch her not chasing nothing it walks right by him if its in a chair andbthevdog walks by it reaches out and lets it paw run over his back he says and does nothing it doesn't run from him but it does run from the new dog and it chases it its like a game for them two it gets up high but close enough to reach claws out and nab him it kays in doorway and he ruffs and whines and sqwalls something awful like he cant get past the cat or cat wont let him get by but cat will rub all up on him now the alf ster growls if the cat tries laying nexy to him or positions himself head mext to me ass to the cat but i have caight them piled up all on top each other and its weird .just loke the rabbits the one literally cleans the big bad cat killer and he does nothing the jump and run uning him as a roadway funnest shit you rver saw better then tv not that i have one to watch amd field mice are just as comical they go inti the rabvits cage steal their food and drink from their water bottkes Smart mice.and then there is the black snakes who climb up the porch trying to get to the few baby mice i found and take care of fed water ect .critters sure are funny.😂

Cats are individuals, with individual personalities. Many love attention and affection and closeness. Some prefer space and occasional petting, but security and routine. Appreciate them for who they are. 🐈😻🐈‍⬛
