It's based on plenty of research (by perhaps the biggest potential beneficiary of market growth due to simplification at the expense of product quality and variety), but many people's preferences will differ, and that's a fact. It's like reviewing a t-shirt based on its conformity to the average body shape.

How would you say the bass presentation on this compares to the DUSK? I want something quite bassy and with impact, definitely warm, but not muddy. Hard to achieve but I've heard people absolutely love the bass on the davinci.

Hey bro, wondering if you've got any opinions on the Simgot EM10, Thieaudio Hype 4, or Galaxy buds 3 pro? I've heard lots of good things about the sound quality for the buds 3 pro but I'm not sure how it really stacks up against iems. Also lots of people seem to love the Hype 4 & EM10 so far so im wondering what your opinion on those is

I agree. I gave the Quartet many chances to convince me to keep it. Yet eventually I had to return it.

I also have a Moondrop May. And as soon as I tested the phone on another DAC dongle I noticed that in addition to the noise problem mentioned, there is also a bit of distortion that is sometimes more noticeable, sometimes less. I got much more interesting results using the May on other dongles and controlling the DSP through third-party apps.

Which one do u recommend for around 30 to 40$ studio headphones?

The touch sensor location is bizarre, not very human

Should note that even with the EQ knobs set to neutral position, they're still in circuit, multiple measurements, and listening to it result in a 3dB or so droop in the bass and treble. It can not be made neutral by adjusting the knobs.

Have gotten these and have been using them for about a week now. I have basically been using it purely on the DSP cable. Personally I feel no distortion even at really low volumes which is usually when I’m watching videos. And sometimes when I’m listening to music while doing other things I’ll also turn down the volume. I’m not sure if it’s just unit difference or if I’m not capable enough to notice it but I have been really really loving it and I don’t think I’ll be upgrading from it for a really really long time.

Hey man, I saw some graphs of yours on Squiglink, could you make your graphs downloadable please, I need the Samson SR850 to be able to tune in for gaming.

After a year of using them I can say this: soundstage is ~ 4", imaging shows you the direction but not the depth, details and separation are good (great for 20€), bass is present, but not intrusive, treble isn't piercing - I like them.

This dude's reviews are just easy to understand and to the point. I appreciate that 👍
