I have fully working master and two recently found non working backups. Do I need to re initialize the master first and then follow same process for the remaining two?

Am I missing something here? If it’s just the key fob battery that’s dead popping that piece off is not necessary! Just push the fob up against the button and push it and the car will turn on.

I think that's possible only if the battery is dying but if it's dead, it's a wrap! No action whatsoever.

anyone know what to do to make it start the car???
If you have a transponder inside the key that's the small black plastic piece then you have to program it for your EWS (Immobilizer), they need to use proper tools for it and there is no any mechanical way to do it instead.

Yeah, that’s just the remote, not the transponder. You can unlock and lock your doors but not start it.
It works only if you don't have immobilizer inside the car

does this work on a jeep cherokee 2021
this can be done without removing the button just hold the fob next to the button and it will read. The battery in your fob is only to amplify the signal... at least it was in my nissan but i also have a jeep. Havent had to test it but i assume its the same

either pay for a second key to do this for free or pay for the code but it’s nearly the same price as a key. Some models may have it written down.

I got a 2001 316i e46 but I did a 2jz swap will this still work for the key?
If you haven't messed with the general module during the swap I imagine this would still work (don't think an engine swap requires doing anything with the GM anyway). Only takes 30 seconds to try and test this anyway
