It's a mini bike it is dangerous. Stock they go 20-25mph. U can do that on ur pedal bike. Wear a helmet and ride smart, watch out for other people and stay alert. A 13 year old out having fun on a bike like this is so much better than out causing trouble in the community.

@StayFaithful7 these bikes are not street legal at all in most places. You'll have to check ur local laws

These magnets are stronger than a normal flywheels magnet. Also we race this bike on a dirt oval and I wanted it to have extra clearance in case it picks something up from the dirt on the track. ARC recommends a gap between .030 and .060. Yes it's not an ARC flywheel but I still follow that recommendation.

I use racer proquip cast aluminum flywheels they come with 28 degrees and I run the stock key

@@nicsminibikes Yeah that's nice. I did the same with the PVL flywheel with 4-degree key. I timed my cast aluminums to 32 and torqued them down without a key. I don't really care that much about timing. I just set it to what the cam calls for.

@@Deucealive75 ya I get some pretty wicked kick back with arc flywheels that have 32 degrees and none at all with these at 28

It pretty much is. Bearing hangers are welded to the back side of the frame.

We have one more on September 7th I'm waiting now for the details from the track but I do know it's a night race this time.

This engine goes on a large cement mixer that can mix quite a few bags at once so maybe it needs the torque more than the HP I'm not really sure but that's how it came so my buddy wanted to keep it that way.

I wouldn't say my carbs are perfect by any means but they are good enough

I don't remember I would say springs cam rod and flywheel at least.

@nicsminibikes ok what size main jet do u recommend for a stage 1 224cc with header, 22mm clone carburetor, 22lbs springs and governor disabled.

@@kevingoon2747 I would start with the 17.5 pilot jet and a 115 main and tune the carburetor from there

This was a while ago. If I had to guess I would say the air mixture screw is between 1.5 2 turns out.

The caliper wedge is just a wedge of plastic they use to keep the caliper from closing in on itself.

If u need to open the caliper to put the rotor between the pads I should be able to just push the side that does the squeezing on the rotor in some if not then loosen the bleeder screw then push the pads apart and re tighten the bleed screw

Ya I just hit the local hardware store and got some thick steel bushing that fit over the axle welded a few together and cut them to the length I needed

Ya this guy was pretty much a birthday present for myself. I can't buy expensive things like it all the time but once in a while I'll make a bad life decision and just do it and make it work.

With the gx390 it was straight chained

I'm not sure how many hours are on it but it gets ran pretty hard

@@nicsminibikes I used to buy those p. G. N's off of Amazon and they were relatively good and then the quality of it was just winter to do some research and find a good neither German or Japanese bearing for some of these wheel bearings that's one of my main Issues with these 6 inch small tire bikes. I just blow through bearings like crazy.

Luckily I have a local bearing store that sales skf bearings they are pretty good. They don't stock these little head tube bearings tho. I haven't had to do a 6 inch wheel bearing yet but I have done a few 8 inchers

@nicsminibikes I'm going to add some crf50 wheels to my mm80 that way I can tune the wheels and add just a little more flex for swing arm

I've almost been there I think last time I used a torch just to heat the head tube up and got them out. They are a pain that's for sure!

They aren't to loud with the stock exhaust on them. Quieter than a lawnmower fo sho

Oil is stupid lol. We've lost the drain plug before and had the side cover bolts back out before. I'm glad this fill plug was still around

I picked this 390 up second hand pretty cheap.
