Many Great Guitarist that are technically fast and intricate but this guy changed the electric guitar world. I have studied him for a large part of my life and people that aren't really into the electric guitar have no idea what Edward Van Halen did to the instrument. He was a creative genious and not only that, Van Halen had the best Rock Music ever! He was probably more proud of the great music the band made than his playing. Man, I really miss him! In my opinion, there will never ever be another Edward Van Halen - NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!!
Ok I’m so sorry… New subscriber, thought I was subscribed!! But I had no idea what your names were, or that you were a "Brother, Sister” duo. You can see the love you both have, I’m just glad I know now lol. I really just wanted to comment on Sara’s smile, when she hears that music that "takes Jonathan to Church”!! You both are awesome!!
I went to this very Concert. Or “Tour” I should say. Have seen them 4 times. Early 80s-90 plus. LOVE YOUR ACDC SHIRT!!! Please, please, check out "Ride On”, and "Down Payment Blues”. Both Bonn Scott era songs. Both AWESOME Angus Riffs, with Bonn’s vocals. Very bluesy side of ACDC. Thanks.. keep a Rockin!!!
Watch wish you were here from this Pulse concert!!!! You’ll crap your self.
Never thought I would be listening to this version of the song I grew up with, but I actually love their interpretation of this classic MJ song. Thanks for sharing. ( new subscriber btw) 😊
Great voice ever. Clean. The song is deep. Spiritual deep to really understand. Great thanks
Not just a phenomenal vocalist but also a genuinely humble and educated man but remember that Disturbed is not just David Draiman, the others are just as amazing.
The king 👑🎸🎸🎸🎸 I've been a fan since 78 I was 11 years old and the rest is history 🤘🤘🤘 I saw Ed play in 81'82' us festival 83 84'86'88 91' 07'08'12 Long live the king 👑 Miss Ed everyday 💯💯💯 the guy was the soundtrack of my youth and when he passed away a part of me passed away 😢 RIP brother 💯 much love and respect from Pasadena CA 🎸🎸🎸🤘🤘🤘
A disgraceful reaction on steve vai song
my headcanon is 'Music' are derived from Muse + Sick, their live performance always so sick & full of energy. They also will be among my *Top 3 Bands* of all time. Great reactions btw 😎👍
I was unwilling to listen to this cover by Disturbed at first because I felt it was sacriledge to go near Simon and Garfunkel. But one day driving this came over the stereo in my car and I was ready to tear it down. How wrong I was !! This is one of the finest covers ever made. You all know how great this really is, and now I do. I am a musician (mainly guitar) and we tend to get our egos in the way and think we know everything. I am at the point now where I like Disturbed`s version as much as S&G`s original. I heard Paul Simon said this is how the song was meant to be done. But they were holding on by the skin of their teeth when they recorded it. So If P.S. feels that way , I will take heed.
Steve vai songs to react to.... Dark Matter Whispering A Prayer live in Astoria For The Love Of God Blue Powder Teeth Of The Hydra The Audience Is Listening Liberty Ego Death(Polyphia) Then you can head to Joe Satriani and Zakk Wylde
thats some serious finger picking james and kirk are doing here that is a quick and fast rhythm with the drums and guitars
When this happened I was in US Navy Bootcamp AOCS in 1986. We got to watch it live in our tv lounge as a treat. Artists and Hollywood work close with our military to ensure we get to watch movies that are in theaters when we can’t be there, and to hear live music concerts as they occurred.
Ed was a classical trained piano player as a little kid. He bought a drum set later, and Alex got a guitar. However Alex commandeered Eddie’s drum set while he wasn’t home... So Eddie just told him, you keep the damn drum set and give me the guitar. The rest is history. He said Alex was way better on drums than he was, so that’s when he made the decision to take Alex’s guitar off him 😂
This album and tour, and Pink Floyd's Division Bell album and tour WHERE my early 90's, period. I have both in every possible medium avaliable. From LP to Digital. I wore the groves out on the records and the VHS tapes watching those albums and concerts and trying to copy both Knopfler and Gilmour guitar parts, as well as Alan Clark and Richard Wright piano/keyboard parts, as well as heavily gigging with my first band. Good times, good memories.... That Pensa Shur will always be my favorite Knopfler guitar. His tone on this tour was unreal. Gilmour and Knopfler will always be my nº1 musical heroes.
Don’t see What’s funny
Great reaction!!!!!!!! ♥♥♥ sooooo many amazing creations!!! Love you!!! ♥♥♥ 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
This is the song that I can listen nonstop. I'm so loving it! David's voice is just incredible!
Few realize that the solo is broken up into movements and he completely stops between them. So there's perfect places to stop. As if he was giving people a moment to reflect on what they just saw. 🎸⚡⚡⚡
The Song.......... Its like he is having sex with the guitar. The expression ect... is what the song is about 😎
It's not a comedy show
Regarding your comments on the audience: I've been very fortunate to have seen Pink Floyd three times over my 67 years and each time the audience always sat still. In awe and almost hypnotised during the songs, taking it all in. Only when a song was over do they (we) tend to let loose with our admiration. I recently (couple of months ago) saw David Gilmour during his present solo (Luck and Strange) tour in London and the audience behaved just the same.
I've seen several reactions to this solo, and yours's is the first to notice the classical influence that runs through it, and all of Eddies playing. I'm glad I watched.
THE GOAT
I clicked the Like button before They even started playing. I am a big fan of Aerosmith. Was fortunate to see them in concert several times back in the day!
Sara is so funny! LOL!!
Pardon me for pissin in the milk here, but this band represents the surrender of Rock n Roll and it's incarceration in the corporate, soulless void in which it resided. From the moment the Doobie Brothers and Michael McDonald crooned 'Only fools believe' all hope was lost. it had become the worst thing that Rock n Roll could be, safe. That said, Steve is a good guitarist.
They weren't the worst of 'em back then,
Stunt guitarist Steve Vai and his pregnant Ibanez. Enjoyed your reaction lads. worth a like and subscribe. If you're interested in Steve and have not done so already, you might want to check out Steve with Dweezil Zappa's band playing Dirty Love, live.
Why would you even show this to your significant other? I can already see in her face that she has already fallen in love with Her Eddie.
you two, stop interupting..save it for the end, really messing with the experience
Nothing has been recorded! Muse is the best live band!
Can you run it.
If you don't love Eddie you are evil.
If only you knew what this song is about... 😅
The King Eddie Van Halen 🎸🎸🎸🎸Period ..
This song is about the homeless being invisible in our society....The seeming inaction to their plight
Greeting`s from Finland. Nice reactinos. 😍😍😍
Nunca se cortan los solos de David Gilmour!!!!!!!
...this is diferent man! i racognize your musical different aspect as drummer. I enjoy your passion cause i am also... your pair!!😃 a bass player🙂. I enjoy listening this band from the past(i am a little (too)older🙄), from 1979, when i listen their whole first album from the first track "childs anthem"! and i became! speechless!
😯...both of this artists is brilliand musicians. Also they are a brilliand arrangers. Guys, very good start! in your channel. I enjoy it!
I was there in 2013. It still resonates in every fiber of my body to this day. I've witnessed many great bands in my lifetime, but Floor and Nightwish are something else. The depth is insane 🤯
I’ll have you know I’m jealous beyond any words! That was a once-a-generation show (maybe even rarer than that). My only option is to perfect my time machine…
One thing I know is... Eddie never needed to be ghey with a "maann" bun and kuvvered with tattwooos.
His bro left the band early 80's and they haven't spoke for decades.
masterpiece😍
I loved EVH (RIP). I saw Van Halen twice in the DLR era and one thing really stood out to me, Eddie LOVED performing for his fans and the fans loved him. You hear stories about EVH some good, some bad, but one thing for sure, he was an innovator, he was a performer, and he was such a great dude. If you want to know what EVH is all about, look up the Jason Becker video. It will make you cry like a baby.
Singers sing what they can, Floor sings what she wants ❤once she sang the phonebook in a Dutch radioshow❤and It sound like a real song ❤her voice just touch your soul and grab your heart ❤she is one of a kind ❤our Valkyrie queen ❤
🤘RIPEVH🤘 🤘5150🤘
I deeply regret not seeing them on that tour. I was too hung up on Waters not being there. 🙄
