From the CD 'The Holly Bears the Crown'. Originally recorded in 1969. A few weeks later The Young Tradition broke up and the record was never released. Sadly Royston Wood died in 1990, Peter Bellamy died in 1991 and Dolly Collins in 1995. This is to their memory. Trad: from The Copper Family of Rottingdean, Sussex. Peter Bellamy and Royston Wood were both members of The Young Tradition. The Servingman and the Husbandman comes for the Transatlantic record 'Galleries'. Royston died after a car crash in 1990, while Peter took his own life in 1991. Both a great loss to the folk world. R.I.P. Enjoy
