Hmm show us the proper repair then, since you're obviously a professional, a new valve will NOT fix the issue, I've tested this multiple times over and over with new cartridges, and again it will NOT work, but you'd know that already right? mr. know-it-all, oh and by the way, the video is for people who cant afford to destroy their wall replacing the entire shower valve assembly, but again you'd know that right? kick rocks bud. 😂

Try some hand soap to lubricate it

I blow torched a screw driver and burned the plastic to get it out, but before you do that try putting the center screw into the cartridge and use a hammer nail pulling side to slide it out.

@@basscartel4032 flipping the cartridge upside down. i just had to label the C and H backwards. I can not stand MOEN they did this and create balancing loads so people don't scald themselves. I even cursed out the idian on the phone saying "WHAT THE FK BUSINESS IS IT OF YOURS WHERE YOU NEED TO MONITOR MY HOT OR COLD?. I'm an adult If it's too hot I can move it further to C.. JUST MAKE A FAUCET THAT OPENS AND CLOSES THE H AND C VALVES"!!!!

@@sway329 Nice! congratulations on your dads new purchase! these are amazing engines!, ok so the issue with the gas pedal, in 2004 ford went to a "fly by wire" system what that means is there is no throttle cable connecting the gas pedal to the throttle body like on older vehicles, it's just a sensor that tells the throttle body how much to open depending on how far the gas pedal pressed, I was having the same issue until the "tps sensor" throttle position sensor went out and i was stranded in limp mode, I suspect the throttle body is dirty as well as the sensor beginning to fail, the sensor is located on the throttle body, I recommend you go with the OEM motorcraft part, the aftermarket part from AutoZone / O'Reilly's are chinese clones and don't work the best, good luck I hope you can get it fixed!

Oh yeah it definitely does, no stability control either it's an 04 so it gets sketchy especially in the rain.

Hey how's it going, you've got to try to at least make a video showing your issue, the first place to start is with fuses and relays, but there's really no way I can help you if there's no way you can show your problem.

The engine overheated about 3 months ago we changed it And it was running good until like 2 weeks ago, it’s been leaking all the anti freeze and it was a pipe that was ripped and we had to fix it and then today the engine popped when I was in the Highway, one of the Pistons fell out

And when I tried to step on it it would struggle to go past 40

@@iflex2539dang man thats crazy! Are you sure it was a piston that shot out? The 4.6 v8 is a very strong engine and they're not known to blow like that, did you make sure it had oil? Sorry to hear man!

Yessir, removed the muffler under the driver side and put a pipe right in its place.

I've done more runs and gotten quicker times around 6.5 - 7 seconds.

Incredible acceleration. I have a 2005 Explorer V6 4.0L and I do 8.8 seconds from 0-60 mph

@@ivanramos2460 Cool, i had a 4.0 and warped the heads, when i got the 4.6 it was a big difference in torque, it pulls better in the higher rpm's.

I know, the V8 will always have much better torque but the V6 is still a good engine.

@@ivanramos2460 it was okay, but it didn't have enough power especially if i was loaded with friends and cargo, even then the 4.6 seems sluggish at times.

If it was properly maintained you could have that thing till 400,000 before the motor has issues. Make sure to change your trans fluid as that’s really the weak point of these

Same motor but different block. The Explorer uses an aluminum block and the Vic uses a cast iron.

Lol too late man! Its already slipping from 2nd to 3rd and my converter is shuttering on the highway, but shes been running good lately, got 161k on here right now!

She loves to shred the rear tires too, they're homemade slicks as we speak haha, i got to change them very soon!

michael martin THAT HAPPENED TO ME IT COULD OF BEEN SAVED!!!! Check the fluid level and if that’s good then the soleniod or 2-3 band overdrive driving it will ruin any chance of a cheap fix trust me I just dropped $3000 on a rebuilt unit to put in myself not fun

Well thats the thing, it doesn't have a exaust, i removed the muffler, cats are still attached, just added this valve to quiet her up around quiet area's.

michael martinez is there a tune on the gearbox to fix that?

@@david007007007 unfortunately not in the vehicle no, a shift kit could be installed to help it shift more firm but as in shift speed line pressure has to be dramatically increased and im sure upgrades will be needed. Most likely a aftermarket transmission would have to be installed, btw sorry if i confuse you, in the US we call gearboxes transmissions Lol.

david007007007 they just start to shift slower in older units due to the bs “lifetime” fluid just put a rebuilt in mine about a month ago and it shifts remarkably fast and gained so much down low grunt back it lost so much power it almost felt like the v6 model
