Nice. I prefer the images in the video than the final results thou. The latter look a little overexposed and colder. It looks easy focusing without a pentaprism. I'm scared I wouldn't be able myself
Why shoot at 1/1000 F4 or 5.6 when you can shoot at f9 or f11
How did you record this? What was your setup? It's amazingly filmed, and i love how there's no commentary - just the view through the lens and the sounds ❤ gives me ideas of doing something like it myself!
There's something about anamorphic medium format film being mentioned in a vertical format short that makes me twitch 😂 p.s. Fellow Mamiya 645 shooter here. I watched the video. It was awesome 🤘
Have you tested the moment anamorphic adapter with any other Mamiya 645 lenses? I wonder if it would do as well of an image circle coverage for the 55mm or the 150mm
I have not, just the 80mm. I think it should work on the 150mm but the 55mm would probably be too wide for it.
Great image 👍🏻
Thanks!
Great video
Thanks!
Not as good as your Colorado one as far as cinematography goes but still amazing
lol thanks man
This is literally the best film youtube channel on the world wide web
Dude! I gotta know what your fpv rig for this looked like. Mouth mount?
I had a very small drone flying in front of me the entire time.
Nice
2 of my favorite film cameras - great video
same. thanks!
I just purchased a Contax g1, so I Can’t wait to see your new video it’s been a while
It’s a great camera, you’ll love it!
I love it!
Brilliant idea!
Thanks!
this is so sick!
Thanks!
I LIKE YOUR SET UP I HAVE MAMIYA SUPER
Nice! It’s a sweet camera
DOPE !!!
What camera strap do you use for your 645? Really cool video!
thanks! Its "Cleaver Supply" with peak design anchors
this was beautiful man, you should do more please
Thanks! Working on it!!
How are you switching back and forth between making edits in NLP and the Develop tab? You seem to move seamlessly between the two.
"Controll > N" makes the NLP window pop up.
Thank you! Then how do you get it to go down and make your adjustments in the Develop module? You go back and forth between the two in a way I haven’t seen in other videos.
This was like a therapy :) was watching this thinking if this could be my first MF unit :)
Thanks! I would for sure recommend the Mamiya!
@@adamlora Just got one in the package :), Can I ask which light meter were you using? exposures are just spot on! thanks!
5:37 bro stop ur doing it too good
lol
Baveyes focal reducer?
Its the xpImage .71x
how did you record this perspective of video?!? through the top down finder?!?
yes with the waist level finder. I have a photo of the pic in the community tab.
@@adamlora i mean like the video device used to aim downward towards the viewfinder and still being able to use it? Like some sort of go pro chest rig or something?
love the aesthetics
This was incredible. Thanks!
Thank you!
it doesnt say "develop" in my light room
I stumbled onto this video looking up stuff about the Mamiya and thought "wow this is so well made" and of course it's freaking you Adam 😂
lol no way!!
What are those white flecks caused by? I see those all the time in my scans as well, mostly more obvious in the sky but I can't figure out where they come from.
I think it’s usually just dust or if the film wasn’t dried properly.
I would love to know how to mount the camera to record from waist level finder! The pictures are absolutely impressive!
Thank you! Ive got a photo of the rig in the community tab!
Hey! I just inherited this camera. Can you tell me which view finder youre using and thr focusing screen?
not sure on the focus screen but its the waist level finder
photos are straight out of the camera?
It’s film, so it’s actually quite the opposite lol
This is such a calming video. Would love to know how you rig the video to the camera?
Thank you! Ive got a photo of the rig in the community tab!
Brilliant video thank you! Is that 80mm f/2.8 lens?
Thanks! Yes it is!
keep posting love your work
Thank you!
Well... I feel lovely now
Youve gained a sub dude, gorgeous
thank you!
@adamlora I've just set my 645 up the same way after watching this, you gave me the push to go for it cheers! 😁
i don't even recognize the film stock after your edit. maybe the bedroom shot could be velvia 400, but the rest weren't recognizable to me
kentmere 100, protra 800, fuji pro 400
Stunning images!! 😍
Thank you!
can you keep the border after conversion?
Yes, you can just change the crop
One of the best footage I saw on youtube with this adapter, wel done. Did you use your lens at f1.4 or more at f2 or f2.8? Thanks
thanks! I had it around f/2.8
Nice photos. I'm just curious how your viewfinder is so sharp and you can see everything on seen. I have the same model but my waist viewfinder is blurry, just the small circle is clear for focusing. Any idea please?
i'm not sure, this is the focusing screen that came with it but might have to do with that.
I love the idea of the video. Great work
thank you!
And this one time at band camp!
amazing video and photos!
thank you!
How do you get the top down shot?
Posted a photo of the rig on my community page
hi, good video, how do you put your camera on your 645 ? with witch stuff ?
I have a post showing the rig on my page.
