Miami looks great on video, living in is a lot different.

South Beach is like Time Square, Vegas, est. They used to have character, now they're places to avoid, overpriced, overcrowded cookie cutter tourist traps ... unless you're into being surrounded by tourists taking selfies.

It was an affordable lovely city in the 1960s. It had mom and pop motels nd i tas affordable . Look no one in there right mind thinks miami is affordable these days to live or visit . It is for the ultra wealthy with deep pockets. Then there is the other miami where the majority are living from paycheck to paycheck in absolute poverty . Between outraged common hoa charges insurance property tax ect . It's not worth it at all and there are way more breathtaking places in the world that are affordable and show the usa as it is a poverty stricken nation with a horrible disparity of wealth. Skip the usa period .

Hmmm i wonder why he didn't mention the exorbitant HOA fees that are forcing people out to get the neglected buildings up to current code....or how hard it is to get affordable home insurance or any insurance tied to floods.

Word of advise. This lifestyle is overrated. Yes, it’s beautiful at a huge price. Rising water levels, insurance costs, now separate wind insurance. Just Airbnb for a month and get out

Most of what was shown are high rises for the Uber rich that benefit no one. It’s just a consumer good. Nothing that benefits the city Like a New York City park for the public etc

I used to own a second home in South Beach (Meridian and 9th....which I sold because I couldn't actually afford the mortgage 😮) and I both loved and loathed the area. I loved the art deco, walkability, restaurants, and Lincoln Road but....the beach itself was a little dirty at the time and it seemed that some sort of concert or festival was always taking up space....the smell of weed was constant (great if you indulge, but I don't) and since topless bathing is allowed....you attract gawkers. West Ave is quite nice, as is South of 5th. I would actually consider buying there again...but I presently prefer having a second home in New Orleans (which unfortunately doesn't have a beach area). Ocean Drive can get extremely rowdy, but of course, there are quieter spots to go to.

The question is what can we do to be able to not only afford living here but actually enjoy the ultra luxury lifestyle

I’d love to see some advances in public transport. The city cannot sustain so many incoming residents without doing something about traffic. Not everyone with money wants to spend 4-5 hours in a car everyday.

Joe Biscaha is a bit of an ass. And likewise he didn’t mention A word once, the most important word in Florida/South Beach housing/condos at the moment. And he avoids the A word because he is a seller and doesn’t want to lose any business. The A word is ASSESSMENT which is why I called him an ass. You don’t mention the A word, you’re an ass. Assessments have affected Florida’s real estate market more than any other factor at the moment. Ever since the Surfside collapse, assessments have been on the rise in Florida making real estate a significant liability. How do you make an entire video and not discuss this at all? It’s intellectually dishonest. Unless you’re rich, people should just stay away from Florida real estate. Home insurance companies have been opting out of insuring Florida because of all the natural disasters. It’s a train wreck over there.

I don't see the pedestrian bridge which was promised to connect the new soccer stadium with the major transportation hub immediately north of the stadium. It was to reduce the need to drive to the stadium and instead people could use trains that stop at the transportation hub. The only thing keeping a direct connection to Metro-Rail, Tri-Rail and Amtrak is a very busy highway to the airport.
